Etude House Ice Shot Freeze Foam Review
They tell me the dog days of Summer are ahead so maybe the Etude House Ice Shot Freeze Foam I recently purchased will come in handy! But I admit since getting home I’m in Fall mode! Plus it has been a little cooler lately and I haven’t even had the AC on in my house for the past two nights as it’s been mild enough to sleep without it.
But that’s no reason to believe Summer is over so Etude House Ice Shot Freeze Foam will stay firmly in my tote just in case.
What is it?
You’ll see…!
You might think you’re pretty familiar with products like Etude House Ice Shot Freeze Foam especially if you own or tried similar cooling aids like Dr Jart Ice Cooler, Etude House Aqua Sherbet Ice Toner, and Etude House Aloha Ice Sherbet Primer. Fact of the matter is ice cooling mists aren’t a terribly new or innovative product so when Ice Shot Freeze Foam launched earlier in July I wasn’t really all that excited about the idea.
However….this is NOT a cooling mist! It’s a rather funky cooling foam! Where as most of these icy mists are kinda like a dry ice experience this mist is actually a foam. Basically you will not, just like icy mists, be spraying it directly on your face! It comes in a aerosol can that you’ll shake and apply to the back of your arm using a back and forth motion. It kinda reminds me of silly string as it squirts out! You’ll basically form a large bandage size of foam as you mist the foam back and forth over your arm. Build it up as much as you can and as largely as you can. It’ll feel SUPER cold on the back of your arm but not unpleasant. Now if you’re done just wait a few seconds for it to set. It’ll pop and crackle a little bit as it sets in place. After that you can peel it gently off and it’ll leave you with a fluffy, popping, crackling bit of foam which resembles a bandage of sorts. You can apply it on your face now. Just pat the foam onto your face, the back of your neck, or anywhere you want to cool off.
Nifty right? It basically gives an icy sensation anywhere you apply it! It’s kinda fun to use on a super hot day or even when you just step out of a hot shower and want to close your pores after they’ve opened courtesy the steam in your shower.
It might seem like a silly beauty item but it is a fun one and on a really hot, warm day it’s a great little product to whip out of your purse for cooling off!
I’d highly recommend trying it out for size. It’s just freaking fun and beauty should be fun 🙂
