Joey New York Quick Results Bye Bye Blackheads Cleansing Wipes

I admit I spent the better part of 30 minutes rubbing a Joey New York Quick Results Bye Bye Blackheads Cleansing Wipe across my nose. Ok, so maybe it wasn’t half an hour but it was a considerably amount of time. I had hopes the new Joey New York Quick Results Bye Bye Blackheads Cleansing Wipes would free me of the pesky one or two blackheads that have taken up perm residence on my nose.

It didn’t exactly work and I came out of the experience with a raw, chapped nose but….

You have to check these wipes out if you suffer from problematic, oily skin!

Count me quite impressed with these little wipes! They are very gentle and quite nice to keep in your makeup bag or tote if you’re spending a day at the beach or the pool side and you’re prone to getting a bit oily in the sun. The wipes contain a blend of papaya fruit, pineapple extract, and coconut water and have a soft, fresh scent. They supposedly dissolve blackheads with use as well as dirt and shrink and tighten pores. I can def get on board with the tightening pores as they do leave skin matte and “tighter” for lack of a better word.

I wouldn’t recommend them for drier skin but more for oily skin types. It’s such a rarity that makeup wipes of any kind are really marketed to any one specific skin type so that sets these apart. I brought them with me to the beach and also to the pool because I liked how well they soaked up excess oil and kept my skin matte for a few hours. They do a fairly ok job removing basic makeup but they do struggle with harder to remove waterproof mascara and eye makeup.

I think the real joy here is the fact they mattify skin so well so they may make a perfect pick me up if you tend to go oily through the day! Even just using them to swipe away excess oil on your forehead or nose. I love the idea they might actually be working to dissolve blackheads as well! I only have those two pesky ones on my nose that I mentioned but if you suffer from others perhaps the ingredients in these wipes could wriggle those little buggers loose from where they lodged into your skin!

For oily skin they are quite a win.

What do you think?

Can a mere wipe whisk away blackheads?

Weird. I don’t see a single ingredient that could help get rid of blackheads. Glad you enjoyed them, though! 🙂

def didn’t do anything for my blackheads but apparently they are supposed to eliminate ’em who knows.
