MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass Tint Review & Swatches
MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass Tint are a newly formulated Sheen Supreme Lipglass that launched with the new MAC So Supreme Collection. Don’t mistake these for the original Sheen Supreme Lipglasses as they are actually quite different.
They come in the same click style pen with brush applicator but the formula supposedly has PH pigments that work with your body’s natural body chemistry to produce a unique shade of color. This is an interesting concept because they are already tinted glosses so the fact they actually work to to create a unique shade seems both odd and interesting. Imagine if the Sheen Supreme Lipsticks had the same effect? That would be kinda cool!
Take a look!
These have a thinner consistency than Lipglass and lack the tackiness and stickiness of that formula. It’s the type of product that has a slippery, thinner, yet somehow thicker formula when built. I know that probably makes very little sense but using it you’ll probably understand exactly what I mean. It has the same MAC vanilla taste and flavor as the original Lipglass formula (which I hate, can’t we get mint?).
I find the click style pen fantastic as it makes for easy touch ups on the go and plus it’s much like my beloved Stila Lipglaze. However, they arent the most hygienic packaging around. I typically wipe them with a tissue after each use but indeed they are a bit of a breeding ground for bacteria.
MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass Tint lacks the stickiness of a regular Lipglass which results in a shorter wear time for me and a bit of migration as well. I feel like these move and slip around your mouth a little bit. I can get about two hours of wear from them and find they leave behind a cool staining effect after that lasts another two hours or so.

I think what you see is what you get here so unsure if the “color changing” technology is really working. They are quite a good deal more pigmented than the original Sheen Supremes but the shades all are true to tube color and don’t really change once I apply them or become some sort of perfect shade after they set. Basically if you liked MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass you’ll adore MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass Tint simply because it has more pigmented yet still has the same great formula and slicker, glossier texture of the originals.
Overall, MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass Tint is a welcome change from the standard old Lipglass formula. They are worthy of a pick up of you loved the originals but desired more pigment as these def have a good deal of opacity.
They are available now in nine shades at MAC counters or online at maccosmetics.com
