MAC So Supreme Lipstick Review & Swatches
We see a new selection of MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick again this year with five new shades (one repromote) in the MAC So Supreme Collection. I actually only tried out one of the five shades but the formula is just as good as it has always been.
It might be a repetitive experience or even an uneventful one for some but this collection is well worth checking out.
Take a peek!
MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick doesn’t have a new formula, there isn’t any change here aside from colors so if you really loved the original launch this is a good chance to stock up on new shades.
For me sheen kinda sorta translates as sheer for some reason but these lipsticks are anything but. I tried Candy Apple and it has an incredible pigmentation with plenty of color pay off. The smooth, even glide of the lipstick formula is a joy to use and even the driest lips will find it applies beautifully. It leaves a very high sheen behind with a nice moisturizing feel that isn’t “wet” or glossy look but still has a very high sheen that gives the lipstick a glossy sort of look. I can get an average of four hours of wear from the lipstick with it fading a good deal at hour five.
Candy Apple is describe as a warm plum but I get more of a berrish red plum from it…! It’s a very nice color with some warmth to it that makes it easier for me to wear without looking too clown-y.
If you likely lightly texture, slightly balm-y yet full color lipsticks with a high almost glossy sheen I’m positive the MAC So Supreme Collection will appeal.
These have been Muse Approved in the past and they remain Muse Approved today!
