Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist Review

Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist

Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist joined my empire of facial mists earlier this month because I don’t technically own a snail facial mist and I felt like I needed to mist myself with snail mucus. I mean I’m already applying it via moisturizer and facial masks so why the hell can’t I mist it on my face too right?

Wink!

I know sounds weird but it really isn’t, promise!

Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist isn’t really a must have if you have a ton of facial mists already in your arsenal. I rotate facial mists constantly as they are something I use daily. After I step out of the shower and before I do anything with my face I typically mist away! Or when I go to bed at night prior to any skincare or treatments I mist my face as well! I’m always purchasing new ones to try as well. But if you have a ton already no need to rush to get this as I didn’t think there was anything super special about it.

Supposedly it contains 99% filtrated snail mucus which I would think would make the mist quite moisturizing. It comes in an aerosol can which means it delivers a very fine mist which I like. I don’t love squirt style facial mists as they tend to really soak your face down! Finer mists allow for a nice hydrating feel without over doing it plus you can use them to set your makeup as well and give a dewy finish to skin after makeup application without ruining your entire look. It contains absolutely no alcohol and treats wrinkles as well as improves elasticity. Personally I don’t buy into the anti-aging benefits but who knows? It does have a faint fresh scent that’s very pleasant and shouldn’t upset sensitive users overly much.

I like it well enough because as I said I can use it to prep with prior to skincare or I can use it to set my makeup. It delivers a nice fine mist that leaves my skin supple and soft. I don’t feel like it’s extra hydrating which is where some of disappointment stems from. I expected something intensely hydrating due to the snail content it supposedly contains.

In the end Mizon Snail Repair Hydro Mist is a very nice facial mist but nothing incredibly eventful that I’m screaming at people to rush out and buy. If you need a facial mist this is a nice one however, if it is moisture you seek you might be disappointed with the results this provides.

Tried it?

Love to hear your thoughts!

I purchased this item.

omg! i was just on google looking for the snail secretions spray review when u came into the results. i already use the recovery gel and it cleared my bumps completely and is shrinking my pores!!! i love it! i use it like 3 times at nite at work. On my breaks, i wipe the filth of my face with a ponds wipe and then put this on. But if you say the spray is not as hydro as it says….boooooooo. not wasting 15

This spray is very LOUD compared to the Missha Time Revolution The First Time Essence Mist which I replaced with this spray at work as I had ran out of the Missha. I didn’t really find the Missha very moisturising, which is why I bought this alternative mist. I work in an air conditioned office which makes my face feeling rather dry throughout the day. Missha’s mist was so quiet and no one at work would notice me sneaking in a spray or two, but this Mizon one is so loud that it sounds that I’m spraying myself with deodorant. I also find it hard to get the mist onto my face. It doesn’t travel far horizontally after you spray and the mist just drops vertically! Maybe I’m just too used to the Missha.
