Hey Muse, Happy Monday! Since you’ve gone down the rabbit hole of lip pencils, are you going to be reviewing any of these?

  • amy

I *will* own every, single one of those pencils! Even some 20 years ago, Jordana lip & eye pencils were my absolute favorites. I would have continued to use them, but they were so hard to procure. My local Walgreen’s has spent the last few months clearing out the entire display (which was quite large), and when I asked if they were going to stop carrying the line, I was told there was going to be a complete revamp. I can’t wait!

I picked up 5 of the Balm stains at a recent BOGO sale on Jordana at Walgreens. IMO they are better than Revlon’s balm stains. They are just as pigmented and stain lips as well. They are also glossier and they have a subtle fruit scent/taste instead of mint. Plus they retail for $2.49 in my area. What’s not to love? The Eyeshadow pencil in Continuous Almond is also a pretty close dupe to the Milani LE pencil in almond. Creamy, matte goodness!

  • Caroline

It’s difficult to describe my level of excitement about this. And especially the eyeshadow pencils. Ahhhh I hope these show up in stores soon! 🙂

  • Jen_m_sunshine

The new lip balm stains are great! Watch out for nude chic tho – great color but sparkly glitter in it and it migrates everywhere! The honey one and terra something are my fave. The honey is similar to my fave revlon one…sweet pink too bubblegum pink for my pigmented lips and coral didn’t work well with my lip color but know for most it will be great shade..all in all really liked these and didn’t find them drying.

For a second I thought these were Milani products. I’ll be excited to see how those eyeliners hold up.

        • amy

I just hope Jordana doesn’t go the way of Milani and jack up the prices 2-3X, just because of the newfound popularity.

  • Daniela

    Hey there!
I ran into the shadow pencils the other day and picked up the white, beige and brown ones. I love them! I swatched them next to my LE Milani pencils and couldn’t see a difference. These will be great for people who missed out on the Milani collection

    • amy

I just wanted to mention that the Milani collection has just surfaced here in L.A., and I’ve seen it in only one store, so far (a week ago). I’m mentioning it as this may have been the case in other markets, as well, and it may be worth keeping an eye open.

Hi Muse! I found these in my local Walgreens just last week. I picked up 2 of the Twist & Shine Balm Stains (Honey Love and Rock & Rouge). They were ok,,,just meh to me. Rock & Rouge went on patchy for me. I also picked up the 12hr EyeShadow Pencil in Continuous Almond. Hated it! It seemed to just break apart (more like it was melting?) as I was applying it to my lids! It felt like it was just too soft to use,,,& I was applying it gently, not hard. Oh well, Maybe these will work for someone else, & I hope they do. But for me, I will not be purchasing any more of these. (On a side note,,I do LOVE their blushes!)

  • Majick

I don’t think I have ever purchased Jordana products. (Or Milani for that matter). When I saw these I don’t know why my brain went to CARGO. I guess the packaging reminds me of stuff I got from them in the past.

Thanks to the ladies who have tried them and shared their experience! I look forward to your review (as usual)! 🙂

  • Leyla

I was recently at walgreens and picked 6 of the eight lip balm stains and I absolutely love them. I am waiting for them to get the other 2 colors so I can buy them

  • AnneMarie

I can’t seem to find jordana at the walgreens I went to, only milani. Do you find it in a particular section?because i only find big brands like revlon or cover girl etc.

    • the Muse

typically walgreens has a cash register counter in the cosmetics section and around that section is the jordana Anne. It’s in a smallish display…could be your walgreens doesn’t have it though if not cherryculture.com and jordana’s website sells.
