Origins Ginzing Brightening Cream Shadow

Have you met Origins Ginzing Brightening Cream Shadow? Available in ten shades Origins Ginzing Brightening Cream Shadow ($18.50) is cream shadow with an absolutely gorgeous little formula!

I used to be a strong hater of cream shadows but they crept into my makeup regime and now I can’t get enough of them. But cream shadow is a little nit picky sometimes and formulas can become messy and irritating to apply easily.

If you’re a hater of cream eyeshadow I highly urge you to check out this versatile, cream shadow because it seriously is one of the best cream formulas I’ve tried.

Muse Approval for this one!

Origins Ginzing Brightening Cream EyeShadow

Ginzing Brightening Cream Shadow is ultimately the easiest cream eyeshadow I’ve every used. Housed in a tiny glass jar these generously sized .17 oz cream shadows slip on like a comfy pair of socks with an ultra creamy, easy to work with formula. They blend like an absolutely dream without a skip, nary a problem, nor a tug involved. They give you plenty of time to work prior to setting to a perfect crease-free finish on my drier eyes. I love how easily they apply and how I’m not struggling with them during application. No issues with the formula sliding around my eye or blending away as I work…!

It’s seriously one of the best cream shadow formulas I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I only tried one color which was Coffee Buzz and it was natural without being overly pigmented so my shadow looked flawless, pretty, and flawless. I love how it’s the perfect wash of color on my lids without looking over done.

Fact is I think Origins is onto something here…..if every cream shadow was like this I imagine the beauty world would ditch powders and just rich for the creams!

Muse, I do not like cream shadows, but this one looks really pretty. The finish is just like a powder! Do you use your finger or a brush? I can’t imagine you could get such a clean line with your finger. What type of brush is best for cream shadows?

    • the Muse

Hi Linda I don’t use a brush with cream shadows just a finger, it’s the easiest way to apply and blend hope this helps 🙂

I actually have one of these in Storm Surge and I hate it with a fiery passion! Maybe it has more to do with the shade than the formula. Probably should’ve gone with something lighter, but the one I have just looks like a mucky mess when I put it on. Glad you like yours, though! 🙂

  • Icaria

Oh I’ve been “eying” these for a while now and must at least try one to use as a base. 🙂

  • debbi

Hi!! Did you use, or do you need an eyeshadow primer with this product ??

    • the Muse

hi debbi depends….I didn’t use any but I have drier eyes. I didn’t have issues with it creasing or fading without. I typically use eyeshadow primer but in this case, for testing purposes, I did not. really depends on your own regime and you prep for makeup to wear longest, etc…or if you have oily skin, etc…and need extra primer.

This looks awesome and super smooth! Origins is really stepping up their game!

It’s a little more than I like to spend on eyeshadow but it looks great on you. I love the finish.

Have this in Sugar Peach and it’s a great shadow for those tired eye days. It applies like a dream and works great on it’s own or as a base

  • Pamela

We all the recent attention to cream shadows I’m surprised these don’t get more online love. They have a great finish.

I have Coffee Buzz but my first was the color Perkle (a purple-ish color) and I love it. Even though it’s a darker shade, it really brightens the eye.

    • the Muse

hey pam! glad you’re loving these as much as I am! I am happy to hear about perkle as I ordered it online earlier this week quite excited to try! purple does my brown eyes wonders ;D

  • Danielle

is there any l’oreal tattoo shadow that you could compare coffee buzz to? I’m a full time college student trying to look for an alternative.

  • Catherine

I’m going to order this color! I love your blush/lip gloss combo….I’d love to know what are you wearing.

god sure wish I could remember Catherine! been a while since I did this post EEP! sorry!
