Pixi Redness Reducing Primer

Issues with redness? Pixi Redness Reducing Primer is a new Fall 2013 product that you can catch up with at your local Target this autumn which addresses the issue of a too red complexion.

Take a look!

Pixi Redness Reducing Primer ($28) is a new creamy nourishing green neutralizing primer with a lightweight, hydrating finish. This contains aloe vera and an infusion of ingredients to calm and sooth overactive, sensitive skin.

The formula creamy but has a certain silicone-line texture that absorbs easily but leaves behind a nice flawlessness that will blur the appearance of pores, fine lines, etc…it is delicately tinted a shade of green which will conceal minor redness but you might feel it isn’t nearly pigmented enough if you suffer from a very ruddy complexion. I don’t have a ton of experience with redness so I’m basing some of my thoughts over how pigmented it is.

It also contains Vitamin A and E.

It’ll be launch this Fall at Target, Target.com, and is now available directly from Pixi at www.pixibeauty.com

Pixi Fall 2013 is shaping up nicely from what I’ve seen so far with a new range of eyeshadow palettes, Fairy Light Solos, and even a new eyeliner set! More info to come soon!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Not gonna lie this sounds amazing. I have lots of natural flush in my cheeks and am always trying to find ways to tone them down. I like that it also works to blur pores because that is my other must! Definitely will give this a try.

I’m never sure how to use anything that combats redness….before or after foundtiona? This is a primer, so I guess before. But I always end up taking the product off when the foundation goes on.
