Sephora Pantone Universe Graphic Sculpt Waterproof Jumbo Eyeliner

Most of the Sephora + Pantone Universe Collection is on sale at the moment and that includes this Sephora + Pantone Universe Graphic Sculpt Waterproof Jumbo Eyeliner. Now this isn’t available online however, in store I’ve seen it knocked down to $8 from the original $17 if you do desire purchasing it after this review.

OR…the The Color of The Year Collection has a full size Sephora + Pantone Universe Graphic Sculpt Waterproof Jumbo Eyeliner inside it for $34 with other emerald goodies from the collection. This is knocked down from the original $68 price tag.

I haven’t been a fond fan of the emerald Color of the Year offerings in all honesty! I felt like the the collection from last year was WAY nicer and more of a color I liked. However, some of the offerings from this year’s collection seemed like a win but the formula wasn’t exactly up to par for me.

Let’s take a look at this Jumbo Eyeliner and see if it changed my mind!

Sephora + Pantone Universe Graphic Sculpt Waterproof Jumbo Eyeliner

Even on sale I probably wouldn’t recommend the Sephora + Pantone Universe Graphic Sculpt Waterproof Jumbo Eyeliner. It’s just a meh product and not something you absolutely need as there are far better, more cheaper pencils like NYX Jumbo Pencils that you can indulge in!

They actually market this as an eyeliner but you can of course, shade with it as well as line. I don’t particularly love using a thicker chubbier pencil to line with as I dislike thicker lined eyes and also I find application is messy and I don’t feel in control when lining my eyes with such a thick pencil. If you do like the thicker lined eye look this might just be something to pick it up.

My issues were it stem from the fact it isn’t as vibrant as I had hoped for. It has a creamy satiny formula which applies without tugging and creates a fairly even line on lids without a ton of fuss. However, the emerald color is a more muted green and lighter than I expected. I was expecting more pigment and perhaps a more jewel-like quality to the shade. I also disliked how it wore as an eyeshadow as it blends away easily and creases when you do finally have it set. But again you can’t judge it for performance as a shadow as it is not a shadow but an eyeliner and it works fine to it’s best ability as such without fading or smudging away on my lash line!

For me it was just an uneventful pick from the rest of the Pantone Collection. The color wasn’t a tad boring, I disliked I couldn’t multitask with it, and I wasn’t interested in a thickly lined eye look anyway. However, if you do want a thicker line of emerald with a formula that remains fairly long wearing you might be interested in checking this out. Just don’t expect to use it as a shadow or a shadow base as it performs rather poorly for that task.

Anyone purchase this?

Yeah that looks a bit boring…God I would just die if someone would come out with a Wizard of Oz Emerald City collection. Haha now I want to spend money on something that doesn’t exist:)

I agree on the emerald set this year. It’s so blaaaaaaaaah. =[ The molten metal shadows and the liquid liners are beautiful though.
