Bobbi Brown Pale Pink Lipgloss Review & Swatches

Bobbi Brown Pale Pink Lipgloss is one of three new shades of lipgloss that was introduced with the Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Collection for Fall 2013. I’m on a roll lately with all these nude lippies that are popping up eh? Earlier today I reviewed the Bobbi Brown Baby Pink Lip Color for you as well which is a rather perfect companion to this gloss.

Let’s take a look!

Bobbi Brown Pale Pink Lipgloss ($24) is a sheerer shade so if you have pigmented lips, which I do, you likely what see much color from this shade. It might be suitable for those with less pigmented lips as you might see more color from gloss. However, all around the color is sheerer. If you desire a nude lip look in a similar sort of shade you might wish to indulge in the Bobbi Brown Baby Pink Lip Color released with this collection as it contains more pigment and would be a nice companion piece to this gloss to pair up the two together.

The shade name is slightly misleading as to me it looks like a lighter golden pinky peach. Kinda a super fat free, low calorie shade of NARS Orgasm! The color on my lips delivers me sheen than actually color but there’s enough nudeness here that it gives my lips a rather flattering natural look.

The color definitely will look incredible with the new Chocolate Eye Palette for a complimentary nude lip with a natural eye look. I mentioned in one of my prior reviews that I really like the contrasting shades Bobbi did with this collection. You have a few bolder shades for lips and shades like Pale Pink which are way more natural.

I think the Pale Pink Lipgloss might be a little disappointing for those seeking a completely nuded out lip because this is a touch to sheer to deliver but the non-tacky formula and the pouty finish it delivers with a hint of nude might just compel you to purchase it!
