Royal Plum, Pink Camellia, and Spicy Cinnamon are three new Fall 2013 shades that get promoted in the Clarins Graphic Expression Collection. I’m such a fond fan of Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick so when they do some new shades I’m right on board to explore them.
These colors are beautiful additions to Fall looks, especially Spicy Cinnamon, with a formula that’s utterly addictive.
Take a peek!
The Clarins Graphic Expression Joli Rouge Lipstick shades are a bit fun and a lot a bit Fall. This luminous lipsticks is shimmer and sparkle free with a smooth, moisturizing glide across lips that leaves behind a glossy finish and a ton of opaque color. I’ve loved the Joli Rouge Lipstick formula since 2006-2007ish, it’s what made me fall in love with the Clarins makeup range to begin with and to this day that formula remains a constant fav of mine. I love that the formula never tugs on my lips or emphasizes drier, flaky areas. Even when my lips are chapped this lipstick always looks flawless and always provides such great moisture. The lighter texture and beautiful tint is more reminiscent of a lighter lip balm of sorts rather than a full color lipstick. They have a fruity-ish flavor and scent which I find very pleasant but might be a shy strong for sensitive types so take a little sniff test your next trip to a counter just to be safe.
The light reflecting shades for Fall are really gorgeous. Pink Camellia is the fun shade with a rosy almost berry look! Where as Spicy Cinnamon, a lovely brownish orange, and Royal Plum, a super wearable vampy plum, are the more richer, warmer Fall colors!

You know I love me some shimmer but these have the perfect texture without any at all! My lips look full, glossy, and color drenched.
Joli Rouge Lipstick you’re still the one that I want after all these years. Such a fabulous lipstick years ago and ever after that.
