Etude House Rosy Tint Lips Review & Swatches
Ready for the new Etude House Rosy Tint Lips? If you love matte lipsticks you’ll adore these new Rosy Tint Lip Stains! They were released recently for Fall with the Etude House Rose Collection in 10 shades.
Let’s take a peek!
As a person who chronically has drier lips in the Fall and Winter Etude House Rosy Tint Lips ($9) aren’t something I’d typically pick up for myself but I must admit these are kinda awesome. With matte lipstick trending at the moment, thank you muchly MAC, you might just want to embrace this classic, old Hollywood look and these little tints make it simple to do so.
Etude House Rosy Tint Lips come in a squeeze style gloss tube with an attach rounded sponge applicator. They are marketed as a formula that has a soft feel like that of a rose petal. They have a creamy matte texture that feels velvety and very lightweight on lips. It’s a refreshing change to see such a vibrantly pigmented product from Korea as typically they rely on softer, shimmery shades in lips products. These are intensely pigmented and just as lovely as MAC’s new Retro Matte range but just in a different format than a traditional swivel up lipstick.
To apply you have to squeeze the tube to get product flowing into the sponge. I dislike this as the tube isn’t a squishy kinda gloss tube…it’s a bit dense and hard so I feel like I’m struggling to squeeze out the amount I need. This is a minor quirk but it is worth mentioning.
These are surprisingly nice on my lips and I’m not uncomfortable wearing them but I’m not going to lie they are a drier formula. The color doesn’t migrate nor does it feather and it’ll likely stay put even if you have finer lines around your mouth. It’s the type of formula that adheres well to lips and doesn’t move around. The soft texture doesn’t suck moisture away from my lips nor give any hydrating during the wear. The nice thing about the formula is as it wears away it doesn’t crack or flake it just wears off to a lovely staining effect. Wear time is a solid five hours with a stain that sticks around for at least two more hours after. During that time the color plays nicely with food and drink which is a rarity with lip product. I felt like it stuck around even through sips of tea and a light lunch without losing intensity.

Overall, Etude House Rosy Tint Lips isn’t a formula I’d personally reach for daily but it still gains a Muse Approval for its performance, pigment, and excellent formula. I dislike matte lip products so I’m not really sure I’ll make use of this product but no doubt that it is a brilliant formula and if you love bright matte lip looks this is the product that brings it.
