Guerlain Madame Batifole Rouge G Lipstick Review & Swatches
Guerlain Madame Batifole Rouge G Lipstick ($49.50) is one of limited edition shades launching with the Guerlain Voilette de Madame Fall 2013 Collection.
Rouge G de Guerlain is a gorgeous little lipstick that gets a slight revamp with this Fall release as Guerlain packages it in the traditional mirrored case but adorns it with a lace and polka dot them.
Take a look!
Guerlain Madame Batifole Rouge G Lipstick is quite an indulge at near $50. I can’t say I own many lipsticks that are $50 if I’m honest…! But the price is high for reason because truly from the formula right down to the elegant packaging it is worth every single penny.
The highly concentrated formula has a gorgeous creamy consistency that’s lightweight, opaque, and incredibly moisturizing on lips. It manages to create a super thin yet pigmented layer of color that feels and looks pleasantly glossy on lips. A single application yields full color and the vibrant fuschia shade gives lips a kiss of berrish red perfect for the Fall season with just the subtlest hint of shimmer. The lovely fragrance and a slight taste of violets reminds you this is all Guerlain.
Guerlain takes extra care with the packaging of the lipstick, nestling it in a bullet shaped weight gold casing that contains a generously sized mirror which releases and folds open when you remove the lipstick from the tube allowing for easy touch ups on the go.
I realize $50 isn’t in everyone’s budget but if you’re looking to indulge in the best of the best there isn’t a doubt Guerlain Rouge G Lipstick is a worthy contender in the luxury lipstick world.
Now if I could just afford to dish out for a few more shades….!
I need to win the lotto, remind me to put that on my bucket list!
