Jordana Best Length Extreme Lengthening Mascara Review

Jordana Best Length Extreme Lengthening Mascara 2

Jordana Best Length Extreme Lengthening Mascara is a cheap little mascara that Jordanan recently launched for Fall 2013. This one will set you back a mere $3.99 and is almost perfect but….

A slight hiccup!

Jordana Best Length Extreme Lengthening Mascara is a lengthening and curling formula that has a larger tapered brush applicator. The club-like applicator is scary at first especially to dorks like me who are likely to poke an eye out using it but I promise it works fairly great at adding some fabulous length to lashes.

The applicator has tiny spikes sticking out from the main base and these spikes aid in building a fine layer of mascara on lashes and adding a good deal of length to them. Jordana only makes Best Length Extreme Lengthening Mascara in a single shade but that color is a nicely pigmented blacker than black formula which gives lashes a nice bit of a dramatic finish. The formula is lightweight and doesn’t make lashes stick together or crunchy. I experience no issues with clumping here and the lighter texture allows curl to last quite long. I wouldn’t say the mascara is much for curling but it does add some flutter and a good deal of length to my already longer lashes. The effect is a fluttery set of longer lashes.

I could totally see myself Muse Approving this due to the great lengths it creates however, like Jordana’s other mascara it suffers from major smearing. It’s so rare a mascara smears or smudges on my drier eyes but for some reason Jordana’s formula just doesn’t agree with me. They seriously need to waterproof some of these mascaras and in that case they’d gain a way bigger cult following because at this price they are rather awesome formulas. But the smearing…..

That’s a deal breaker icon sad

Have you considered a waterproof topcoat? Well maybe that defeats the purpose of a 3.99 mascara..just a thought though

I tried it because so many people were raving about it, but I really didn’t like it. I don’t get the hype.
