Jordana Fabuline Bold Felt-Tip Liquid Eyeliner 3

Jordana Fabuline Bold Felt-Tip Liquid Eyeliner ($3.99) a follow up with Jordana’s best selling Fabuline Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner but in a chubby design for thicker, more dramatic lines!

Take a peek!

Milani Eye Tech Bold is very similar to Jordana Fabuline Bold Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner and that could be because the two brands are sisters. However, although similar in design and even formula Jordanna lacks one important factor…

Jordana Fabuline Bold Felt-Tip Liquid Eyeliner works to create thin to thick lines for more drama on eyes. The thicker precise point is easy enough to fit into the inner eye where as the tapered thicker bottom of the pen allows lines to go from thin to thick for more of a bolder, thicker lined look. The pigment on the liner is intense and it creates a very black liner without tugging or skipping. A single pass yields excellent color.

I typically turn the pen on its slide and apply on a side angle which allows me to go from thinner to a thicker line and a tiny flick at the end for the ct eye finish (although my technique sorely needs some help).

Now the problem….

It isn’t quite waterproof…

I have drier eyes and I rarely have issues with eyeliners or mascaras running but this smeared a bit from my upper lash liner to the middle of my eye area. It sets to a dry finish but as the day progresses it seems to have a knack for doing a smear migration that isn’t pretty at the end of the day.

Le sigh!

Great liner and cheaper than Milani Bold Tech but smearing kills the deal for me.

Anyone try it?

Do share!

It launched recently at Walgreens for the Fall 2013 season!

    Muse,
I just bought this and have used it a handful of times. We have a very similar skin type and I have found that I need to set the liner with shadow to keep it from traveling throughout the day. It is frustrating but this at least makes the product useable for me. I think I will stick with the Milani one or even Nyx’s version of this product. They are both much better in my opinion.

hiya michelle! SAME problem 🙁 it just smeared everywhere…it sets to a dry finish but as the day progresses it just went everywhere!

I actually just bought it yesterday.. I’ve been experimenting with tightlining with liquid liner to avoid transfer to my waterline (works really well) and thought a fatter liner might go on easier. The one I had was the PF eye booster and it has a very fine brush tip which is great for above the lashes required quite a lot of wiggling to get a solid line in the base of the lashes since you kind of have to reach in there with the point of the brush. I ran into the same problem, goes on great but doesn’t stay put. Think I will pick up the fat version of the PF liner instead, the one I have has never budged.

I really like this liner because it was one of the few felt liners I have purchased that were useful and not dried out already when I bought them. For the price and ease of use, I’m liking it. I’m liking it when I’m in a rush too, but I was a little surprised at the scent of it! Not intolerable but magic marker much?

oh true m! I typically forget to mention scents sometimes but yeah, def a marker scent going on!

I had the same thing happen with the new Jordana mascara. It was under my eyes withing a half hours time. I never have that happen.

if you start with the flick and then work your way in lining your eyes, soooo much easier!

Not a fan of this liner at all.. After I line one eye, when it’s tie to do the other it apples really on even and light..

So I loved this eyeliner, but my problem is they dry out so quickly. My pen no longer works, and when you go back over the line, it almost peels up the liner that was there before. I wish it lasted longer!
