NYX Butt Naked Turn The Other Cheek Palette for Fall 2013

NYX Butt Naked Turn The Other Cheek

Yeah, you read that right, NYX Butt Naked Turn the Other Cheek Palette is the sequel to the original NYX Butt Naked Palette launched a year or so ago.

It just so happens I’m laughing over the name this morning…! What? I’m like a teenage boy I can’t say butt naked without giggling.

It did so great it deserved a sequel obviously so the new NYX Butt Naked Turn The Other Cheek Palette for Fall 2013 brings a new selection of warm neutral shades in an array of shades for your eyes, cheeks, and face.

NYX Butt Naked Turn The Other Cheek Palette

This collection includes 15 sultry shades of shadow, 4 matte and pearl finish blushes, and 3 pearlescent face highlighters all in butt naked shades (what? I couldn’t resist!).

The original palette had some fairly nice warmer shades but they ran towards being a bit lighter pastel and most suitable for fairer skin tones. Hopefully Turn The Other Cheek turns into a more wearable selection of colors. I really liked the Butt Naked Palette so I suspect I’ll like this variation as well!

It’s available now for $25 at www.nyxcosmetics.com

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Oooo…. I didn’t get the original one, but this may be on my list of gottagits!

Will we see swatches of it, Miss Muse? 🙂

Hmmm, debating as to whether or not I need this one. I bought the first edition palette and I have to admit I have used it a handful of times or less. Perhaps I should get it back out and work with it to see if I love it enough to need it’s shiny new sibling. I do love Nyx products. I think that they are fantastic for that drugstore range pricing. Thanks for the info Muse!

My immediate reaction was “Yes! Must have!” But after pulling out my NYX Butt Naked and Bohemian Chic palettes, it feels like Turn The Other Cheek doesn’t have anything new to offer.

Butt naked? Hahaha oh my god, this totally made my day. I wonder if they will come up with Butt Cheek Palette for our cheeks.

I love how the two PR images look completely different. I like the looks of it but will definitely have to wait for your swatches to get a real idea of what the colors look like.

I will wait for the review but I can’t stop laughing about the name. I guess they had to one up the other companies. Is it me or does everything have a sexual reference? Naked-Orgasm-Better Than Sex. I’m exited about all of these holiday collections!

Ahhhhh I want it! But sadly my original Butt Naked palette hasn’t had enough love to justify getting this one. Maybe I’ll start using it again… 😉
