About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ll take one of everything please! Love it ALL and really love the price points! So tired of makeup collections I need to mortgage my soul to afford! Lol

Love you Muse! Thanks for posting them♥

    • Stephanie

I agree I love great make up but a lot of the great make up is getting outrageous in price. I do love what I see here.

  • AnniLau

I’m usually a fiend for eye makeup but, out of everything, that first lip & cheek palette is what really caught my attention. It’s just so PRETTY.

    • the Muse

the gloss set is at Sephora now but Ulta hasn’t listed yet but they def will be as well as beauty.com, macys, etc…it got an early launch and is available on stila’s website now.

  • Sara

ACK! That palette masterpiece set is fabulous! I love that i can grab one of the 3 palettes and take a whole look with me. How do Stila eyeshadows perform in general? I am obsessed with their Stay All Day felt tipped liners, but I haven’t really used their shadows.

  • Kimmwc03

I really like this collection. I am most interested in the first cheek and lip palette. They remind me of convertible colors; I guess that is basically what they are?

  • Christina

Very cute! I don’t buy Stila because everything always seems so redundant, but these are definitely great holiday options at a great price!

  • Hollie H

Digging a bunch of these. Great price points too. I will definitely be grabbing some.

  • breyerchic04

No major lems for me, I might grab a thing or two if they go on sale though.

The collection I’m waiting on is Benefit.

  • Robin

Ooh, I want the two lip palettes, the perfect eye, and the cheek palettes! I want to see Too Faced and Anastasia’s offerings. Saw one new Anastasia eye pallette on Sephora.

  • jenny

I bought the single eyeshadow palette, and both the powder and cream blush palette. Sigh… I so do NOT need more makeup. Oh wells 🙂 Will you getting the brush set too? I am interested in it but can’t really find any reviews on Stila brushes.

    • the Muse

not sure yet jenny I don’t think so but perhaps some of the other things…! I have reviews on stila brush sets in the archives from holiday collection passed if that’s helpful!

  • Liz

Hi, looks nice but many of their less expensive palettes are made in China :(. Dealbreaker. Rather n spend more & not made there. Do you know where these are from? Thx.

  • SirenPrincess

I am loving so many of these items. Definitely want! Especially the eye palette, the lip glazes, and the eyeliner. Very cool holiday collection.

  • lisa

i still miss their travel pallettes – wish they hadn’t stopped making those. i may have to buy the neutral lip set and the set of three eyeshadow pallettes – thanks for the preview!

  • Alyson Williams

Hi Muse! Looking on Sephora, they say that a typical lip glaze it’s 0.08 oz. When I clicked on this set on Sephora, they said each lip glaze was 0.45 oz. Does that mean that these are bigger than regular lip glazes?? I know that that is probably unrealistic and that Stilas holiday lip glaze sets have smaller lip glazes usually, but I was just wondering.
    Thank you

  • Tori

I love this collection! Especially the three artist palettes! I think the price is really good too!I think I really need these!

  • Myra

I REALLY wanted to LOVE the Masterpiece Eye and Cheek Series, but they were not as pigmented as I wanted. I’m spoiled by the Lorac & Urban Decay palettes I have, where the color is effortless to put on. I sadly chose to return them 🙁
