About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. That’s pretty awesome that they are putting those palettes into the AD! Too bad I already have both of them. They are both great palettes btw.

    • Azmaari

Hi I really really want to purchase the first tarte beauty with boundaries set how do I do this…I’m in the uk and I’m having difficulty trying to buy it online becz I can’t find it please help thank u soo much

  • Noël

I was so excited to see this I posted it to qvc’s beauty banter immediately! SQUEE!!! btw I love you muse!

  • Nancy A.

If I wear Fairly Medium in BE what color should I chose? Fair or Light? I can’t do yellowy foundation at all.

    • the Muse

i haven’t seen all the shades nancy just two so can’t really say…it’s difficult to recommend a foundation choice on the internet having never seen you.

      • Nancy A.

I a an exact match to FM in BE. Fair, not pasty with slight pink undertones. Think Irish with freckles 🙂

    • Kara

I wear fairly medium in BE ready (Fair in loose Matte) and I thought the sample of Fair that I tried for Tarte’s BB cream was the best match for me. I think most of Tarte’s Light shades have some yellow tone to them which I can’t do.

    • Teasha

Fairly medium in what? Matte, original, or ready? If its in the original or matte, fair will be way too pale on you imo. To give you an idea on how pale the fair bb is; most of the year I wear fair in the bb and I match up to fair in the ready foundation, during the summer I wear fair in matte BE and I have to mix in some light amazonian clay full coverage foundation with the fair bb, because the fair bb is too pale for me when I wear fair in the matte BE. The light might be too yellow on you, I do not own light, but I hear it is yellow. Keep in mind, they are sheer, so maybe the yellow tint won’t be so obvious on you? You may have to mix 2 shades to get the perfect shade for you. I’d go to sephora to swatch them, if you can, or tarte has a video up on youtube with swatches, maybe that would help you decide.

Thanks for posting, Muse! Those are amazing AD’s! Both palettes may be on clearance at Sephora now, bt mot sure they are exactly the same?

    • the Muse

my pleasure cc, not sure, this is the only deets they gave me, haven’t really compared them to stuff on sale at sephora. either way still a great deal as you are getting makeup bag, eyeliner, lip pencil, full size bb cream and concealer along with the palette.

  • diane

it needs to be december right now! holy cow!!!!! i love that pink bag! and i can’t believe there are shadow palettes involved! i’ve been wanting that amazonian escape palette for a while and just never got it- and the lipsurgence pigment colors!!! aaahhhh!!!!!! i’m so excited =D thanks for posting!

  • PharmNCharm

Wow, this is a really fantastic TSV! Those are the cutest Tarte makeup bags that I have ever seen! I already use the BB Primer and I love love love it! And I have been using the rest of the first shipment of the Beauty without boundries kit for about a month and I have really been enjoying the concealer and the lippie! Yay Tarte!!

  • Nicole

I just checked sephora.com and they have the palettes for $44 each. The A/D shipments are a steal! 🙂 This is what makes QVC TSV’s so great!

  • Daisy

I am a little surprised on the multiple shipments of concealer and tinted moisturizer. I don’t think I could get through one set in three months.

  • Amber

I don’t have either one of them. I got my auto delivery last month. I love the BB primer.

  • Rebecca

In order to get the December or March shipments, do you have to buy the September set or can you buy the December or March sets through QVC separately?

  • Lilliam Lugo

    Hi!
Thank you for all your reviews, they are very complete and I value your opinion. I have two questions, first does it matter if you order before or after the 24th of September to get the shipments on December and March? Second, from your expirience, do the offer free shipping on official TSV day?
    Thanks!

    • the Muse

      hi lilliam
thanks so much so glad you enjoy Musings of a Muse. Keep in mind this isn’t a review post though merely information about the set

you can’t order after because it won’t be available at the special value price and in most cases they don’t offer the auto ship option the day after…so the price goes up after the 24th and you miss the other shipments. there is no free shipping on this unfortunately. Typically it is very rare for QVC to do a free ship on a TSV. Hope this helps. as of now you can’t order at all so you’ll have to wait until tomorrow but you can typically order a TSV early sometimes a month before it launches but you have to know the item number so it is a good idea to visit the QVC forums or get that info from blogs or beauty sites that post the details on any special deals or sets that QVC will be launching as TSV.

  • Marina

Hi Muse! I’ve always had your blog bookmarked, but after recently visiting here, you’ve compelled me into purchasing the Beauty Without Boundaries! (And I’m sure there will be more to come ;D)
Anyway, I’ve signed up for auto delivery for the December and March shipments, but do you know how much each will approximate cost? This set was $65.98 for me, so I wasn’t sure if I should be expecting that price point for the next two deliveries. Thanks 🙂

    • the Muse

yay happy to hear it marina. when you purchased Beauty Without Boundaries you locked on on the special value price so that $65.98 is what you’ll pay in Dec and March, price doesn’t change 🙂 Hope this helps! ENJOY! Have fun with your goodies!

  • yelena

sorry if this is a dumb question, but does anyone know if you can still order the December shipment by itself? I wish they would let you do that!

    • Isabella Muse

no you can’t, maybe at some point they might launch it but to get dec/march you had to get the original premiere of the set.
