Urban Decay Ocho Loco 2 24 7 Glide On Eye Pencil Set

Urban Decay Ocho Loco 2 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set is the newest eyeliner gift set from Urban Decay launching for Holiday 2013. I guess Ocho Loco was so damn awesome it deserved a sequel! Hey, I’m not complaining at all as Urban Decay Ocho Loco includes five new, exclusive shades of Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils!

Take a peek!

Urban Decay Ocho Loco 2

Just like last year’s set the Urban Decay Ocho Loco 2 24/7 Glide On Pencil Set includes eight full size 24/7 Glide On Eyeliner Pencils for $59. Did I mention what a relief it is that most of the Urban Decay Holiday 2013 Collection offers the same great deals as the year before? When product costs are rising all the time it’s a rather nice relief to see that UD has stayed the same!

Where as the original Ocho Loco set included four exclusive shades Ocho Loco 2 includes five! Breaking it down at $19 each it would cost you $152 to haul all eight of these pencils. So you’re basically buying four here and ending up with four free. Or…think of it as paying $7 and some cents per pencil! They also include a limited edition Grindhouse Double Barrel Sharpener with the set done up in a new neon green shade! See? Still has the same great pick and a little top that closes it up tight when not in use. In case you’re wondering what that slide out pick is for it’s to clean up excess liner and shavings from the sharpener. I’m always shocked folks didn’t know that most eyeliner sharpeners have a pick for that reason (GASP! you might have learned something new today that you never knew!).

So what do you get?

Shades (exclusive, new shades are in bold):

  • Roach (deep copper brown shimmer)
  • Twice Baked (rich brown satin with gold micro sparkle)
  • Crave (deepest, darkest brown black matte)
  • Perversion (blackest black matte)
  • Deep End (bright metallic peacock shimmer)
  • Mars (bright metallic green shimmer)
  • Ultraviolet (bright blue violet shimmer)
  • Tornado (dark eggplant pearl)

Exclusive and brand new shades are Mars, Crave, Twice Baked, Ultraviolet, and Tornado.

You might be a little tired of Zero by now and thankfully that’s been replaced by Perversion. Perversion is far from repetitive in my opinion as it is an essential liner color that everyone should own. It’s creamy, pitch black with darker than dark pigment, and perfect for ALL eye looks. It’s an essential shade I wouldn’t want to live without and I love it hecka more than Zero!

I’ve done my fair share of reviews on Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils and you already know it’s one of the better eyeliners on the market with it’s super creamy formula that glides onto lids like butter. The thing about Urban Decay is they have the largest and most unique shade selection of eyeliners out there! With over 39 different shades to choose from plus sets like Urban Decay Ocho Loco 2 that include exclusives and new colors you have yourself quite a bit of variety. Who do you turn to when you want a bright pink eyeliner? UD obviously!

The price of near $60 might be a little intimidating but breaking it down this set is a value and it’ll make an excellent Christmas gift for yourself or some other makeup lover in your life (let’s face it, you want it for yourself).

The Urban Decay Ocho Loco 2 set def gains a Muse Approval from me. I love these eye pencils. Variety, plenty of gorgeous colors, and full sizes!

Loves!

If these shades aren’t your bag no worries Urban Decay’s Black Market also releasing with their Holiday 2013 Collection might be the ticket for you!

It’ll be available exclusively at Sephora and Sephora.com

Will you be indulging?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. So glad Tornado’s making an appearance among the liners, and it certainly looks like a good one. It’s a tempting set, thanks for the photos!

I will so be indulging and will begin stalking Sephora’s website until it’s available! lol I was actually kind of eh on this version until I saw that pic of 3 swatches. I know I’m in the minority, but I’m tired of UD including a Perversion in almost every kit. I think black liner looks too harsh on my eyes so I have one Perversion that’s 1/4 used and a full-size unused pencil. It’s an amazing pencil, though.

I’m with you on Perversion. It’s just too dark for my to use regularly. Zero is much easier for me to work with (even though I don’t use that one often either).

Missed out on last year’s set. I may scoop these. UD hands down makes the best pencil liners.

This is such a temptation! I can’t take it anymore! Urban decays deals are too good to pass up. Do u know when it will be available at Sephora?

  • Allie

I’m new to shopping at Sephora. I am $250 away from being a VIB. As of yesterday I blew over $250 on the new UD holiday items. Would it have been worth it to wait to get it at Sephora to become a VIB?

Every now and then I buy eyeliners from other brands, but I keep coming back to Urban Decay. I’ve bought a few sets with mini pencils, but I love when they’re full-size because I know I’ll use them…I’ve already been through 2 Rockstar pencils and 1.5 of Perversion. Plus, all of these are my kind of shades!

  • Katie

Hi, I really Really like the color Mars but I have the color Junkie which looks very similar, any chance that they are close dupes

  • Malifiscent

They are available now on the UD website….I don’t use any other eyeliner anymore and go through Perversion at a rapid clip. I buy one whenever there is a F&F sale, or the special coupon from Ulta that let’s you buy anything (2x/year) or Beauty.com has a sale…Register with UD’s website or FB page and you’ll get advance notice of their sales. LOVE UD!

Tornado sounds familiar, I got the eyeshadow version of it in the Glinda Palette. Could they be bringing out eyeliner versions of the Oz Palettes!? Squeeeee.
