Bath & Body Works Halloween 2013

Bath Body Works Halloween Body Lotion Plum Potion Black Candy Apple Wicked Spiced Pumpkin Scream a Colada Sinful Vanilla Spiced Cider 006
Once upon a time Bath & Body Works used to do a killer Halloween Collection.  So what the hell happened to the Bath & Body Works Halloween 2013 Collection? Le sigh!

This year we got a Haunted Barn Mini Candle Luminary, some pocketbacs, and a single foaming hand soap but not much else.

How sad!

I, for one, look forward to the Halloween Collection each and every year.

Here’s a selection of awesome reviews and posts from Halloweens past…at least we can re-live the awesomeness and hope that next year we’ll see a better Halloween Collection!

For more Halloween goodies check out the This is Halloweeen archives.

And Happy early Halloween (hopefully Bath & Body Works hears our plea and next year isn’t so skimpy on the collection!).

I was shocked, too. I kept on looking forward to it. Halloween is my jam. I haul indiscriminately ( I have no idea why I need 3 halloween tart warmers, but that’s for another story). I wanted something more than the PocketBacs. So, the 2 threewicks for $22 deal is slightly enticing. I smelled blueberry pumpkin patch yesterday. Divine. However, I’ll be hauling Diptyques soon so I’m on a no buy =/

Musey, have you heard of Future Primitive, the uk based soap emporium etailer?

You’re right, there isn’t much this year. I’ve bought a lot of holiday candles (hooked on the Marshmallow Fireside and glad they brought it back) but there’s not much Halloween this year. It all seems to be focused on pumpkin and apple this year, too, for their fall offerings. I like both, but had hoped for more variety!

That’s what I was wondering too! I went in a couple weeks ago and was thinking to myself “did everything just sell out?” All I saw were Pocketbacs. I usually go nuts every year for the Halloween stuff, what’s wrong with them?! My favorite thing is still my glittery pink skull soap dispenser from a few years back. I am bummed they didn’t have anything cool this year :(

Seriously! What happened?! I got 3 compliments this weekend on my Bride of Frankenstein Pocketbac holder from LAST year. I told them where I had gotten it and thought about how stupid it was that they were missing out on sales because I had to add that it wasn’t available anymore. I saw people buying Fall stuff like crazy, how could they forget about Halloween? I don’t get it. I’m twice as likely to buy that than Christmas stuff. I can hardly bear to go through the back posts because I’ll be sad about everything that didn’t come out. Sigh.

I’m actually a little relieved, I thought I was so late to the party that I missed the collection, but I’m not crazy there was just nothing to see. Whew. On the other hand that really blows. I’m glad I have a bunch if super cute stuff from them from years past, what a let down. :(

I used to spend tons at B&BW, but stopped years ago. They’ve gone downhill since they discontinued the Temptations line and Tutti Dolci line.

I know. So disappointed:( it’s something we look forward to each year. I think they should have feed back that they let their customers down majorly.

Whew, glad I’m not the only one disappointed. I was on the look out and realized by the end of September that nothing remotely Halloweenie came out. I actually went up to the sales associate and asked her about and she showed the book that contained the Fall releases. The Halloween themed stuff was only one page! We both were puzzled as to why they weren’t expanding on Halloween this year…sigh. C’est la vie I guess.

Hope your vacay was awesome Muse! I missed you (:

I was sad that nothing was offered for Halloween this year. I really wanted some candleholders like the ones they had last year: it was Frankenstein and his bride. They really need to bring stuff like that back.
