Chanel Radieuse Rouge Allure Lipstick Holiday 2013

Chanel Radieuse Rouge Allure Lipstick ($34) is one of three new limited edition Rouge Allure Lipsticks released with the Chanel Nuit Infinie de Chanel Holiday 2013 Collection.

Radieuse is a blue pink which means it won’t be wearable for everyone but those who can wear cooler shades of pink might just adore this one.

Take a peek!

Chanel Radieuse Rouge Allure Lipstick isn’t quite opaque and provides sheer color coverage but depending on the pigment of your lips it’ll look better or worst. Those with pigmented lips might find the color won’t show as truly and intense as it would on those with less than pigmented lips. I do recommend it for those with fairer skin and less pigment in there lips. It’s more a mod pink shade to me that won’t look as great on medium or darker skin tones…or at least that’s how I feel. I disliked it in all honesty because not only was it drying and tuggy during application but the color makes me look a little deathly.

Chanel Radieuse Rouge Allure Lipstick Swatches

I felt like the formula tugged during application and the texture was dry to begin with but dried further through the wear so my lips didn’t feel particularly comfortable in it.

This one was a sad skip for me…!

It’s gorgeous! Sheer blue-based pinks are easier to pull off than their opaque counterparts so I might check this one out.

You do NOT look deathly!! Lol. This color looks so pretty on you! Too bad the formula is not so good but I do love the color.

Actually, I think the color looks nice on you. Lighter and more natural maybe than what you’re accustomed to seeing on yourself, but I think it looks pretty on you.

You look stunning with this shade! What blush are you wearing in this picture? It pairs really nicely with the lipstick 🙂
