Clinique Superprimer Dullness in Deeper Skins Face Primer

I’ve already covered the Clinique Superprimer for dull skin but there’s also a Clinique Superprimer Dullness in Deeper Skins Face Primer as well!

This actually comes in a pink formula as well which would be best for suitable fairer skin. However, this version is for deeper tones suffering from dullness.

Take a look!

Clinique Superprimer Dullness in Deeper Skins Face Primer is one of six new formulas that Clinique recently launched. These primers prep for makeup as well as have color correcting benefits which treat dullness, redness, discolorations, etc….

I don’t have a deeper skin tone but based on my experience with the other formulas I do find these too subtly tinted to offer any real correcting abilities. They are however, great primers overall. The formula is a lighter, silicone based primer that will blur the appearance of minor pores and fine lines. I typically have issues with silicone primers as they make me itchy but this dries down to a smooth powdery finish that’s quite comfortable. If you have combination skin with some oiliness this should do well to combat that shine.

The shade of the dullness formula is a deep, warmer orange. As I said I’m unsure if it works to combat duller skin on darker skin as that doesn’t fit the criteria of my own skin type however, based on my experience with the other primers I find they aren’t pigmented enough to act at correcting much of anything. They need to be a bit more pigmented to correct in my opinion.

Clinique Superprimer Dullness in Deeper Skins Face Primer Swatches

As a primer Clinique Superprimer Dullness in Deeper Skins Face Primer works fairly well to blur the appearance of minors and finer lines while prepping skin for making allowing for longer wear foundation thanks to creating a solid base for makeup to adhere too. However, if it actually corrects is questionable.

These are available now at Clinique counters as well as online at Sephora.com.
