It Cosmetics Holiday Heavenly Luxe Brush Collection with Travel Case 1

Yes, I think you need it.

It Cosmetics Holiday Heavenly Luxe Brush Collection with Travel Case 3

It Cosmetics outdoes themselves again with this incredible inexpensive brush set. The It Cosmetics Holiday Heavenly Luxe Brush Collection with Travel Case ($39 at QVC) comes with six essential It brushes as well as a travel case. Oh and by the way did I tell you it’s already wrapped? Yup! Gift box, ribbon, and tag! Just fill out to and from fields as follows to: me from: me oh…wait this is a gift for a friend right? 🙂

It Cosmetics Holiday Heavenly Luxe Brush Collection with Travel Case 5

It Cosmetics Brushes are synthetic and as soft as Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Brushes (if not softer). These brushes have a heavy, sturdy silver handle. Too many times I buy Holiday brush sets and the handles are so light which makes the set seem rather cheap! Not the case with this set! These have sturdy handles and excellent overall quality. I own many, many of the Heavenly Luxe Brushes from It and they all perform incredibly. The bristles are super soft, they don’t shed, and they are a long lasting quality makeup brush.

It Cosmetics Holiday Heavenly Luxe Brush Collection with Travel Case 7

The set comes in a faux leather travel case which flips up and acts as a vanity stand while you’re using the brushes.

You get:

  • Heavenly Luxe Travel Multi-Powder Brush
  • Heavenly Luxe Travel Flat Foundation Brush
  • Heavenly Luxe Travel Flat Concealer Brush
  • No-Tug Travel Crease Brush
  • No-Tug Travel Allover Eye Shadow Brush
  • No-Tug Eyeliner and Brow Brush with Spooly
  • Travel case

Loves it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Oooh purty! I’ve been lazy lately and literally only using one brush for everything lol. Btw have you seen the new sponge by real techniques? Waaaaay better than the beauty blender imo, and a lot cheaper too lol

    • the Muse

i haven’t but off topic boscia has this awesome cleanser sponge you MUST try! review coming 😀

      • Cj

I saw! 😀 I have a couple of Konjac sponges I bought off evilbay a while ago 😀 they are awesome

        • the Muse

me too me too! i got some off sasa a while back ago but really loving this one 😀

          • Cj

Oooh putting it on my next order list 😀 have you seen the new clarisonic brush head?

          • the Muse

i did wish they put the precision and cashmere into a duo so I can buy one 😀

  • Jody

    Lol. To: me. From: me.
I saw your post on Facebook and I was just coming here to ask if you knew if this set was as good as their regular brushes. Sounds like you like them.
I really like the it brushes. They’re soo soft.
If they’re as softnasnthe regular ones, I may have to grab a set for me for Christmas.
I’m so bad this time of year. I shop like ” one for you, one for me”

Oh, and that Benefit calendar does look like the bomb diggety 😉

    • the Muse

hehehe…jody! They are indeed just as good…they aren’t quite full size but very close and the bristles are AMAZING! So soft! I have a ton of their brushes and really like them 😀 LOL I do too, I do too…aren’t we bad? 😀 lol no worries auto correct is the devil’s work! I really love the Benefit Calendar, I actually ended up buying a few for house gifts when I attend Holiday parties as I know a few friends that might just love ’em 😀

  • Lisa

Sigh…why do all makeup companies insist on including flat foundation brushes with brush sets. I have literally never seen a single person use one–at least, not to apply foundation.

      • anne

Yup!! def don’t need that one, and i already own 2 from sigma that i never use

    • Sara

I repurpose them! They usually play well with cream products. The tiny Real Techniques one is one of my favorites for applying under eye concealer before blending with something fluffier, and I recently experimented with using it to apply a contour cream.

    • Dee

I agree! I wish there was a blush brush in place of the foundation brush. I have a few IT brushes, and they really amazing.

  • Deb

Morning, Muse. This is a nifty little set, thanks for posting. I didn’t even know it was out there. The IT brushes are really nice and I am one of those people who will not use real animal hair brushes. Period. Not negotiable. Even if they say cruelty free. So props to IT for this set and to you for reviewing it. On a slightly different note, if you are ever looking for a well made, synthetic travel brush set with case check out Coastal Scents. They have 2 if I recall. I got the bigger one, it’s got something like 24? brushes. Like you, I travel quite a bit. Some of my trips are a couple of days and some have been as long as three weeks. I got so tired of futzing around with my brushes and trying to figure out if I had the right ones for how long the trip was and how much makeup I was taking. It made my head hurt! So I just decided screw it, I’m going to purchase one set for nothing but travel. I stumbled across the Coastal Scents ones and read a lot of reviews first before purchasing. They are excellent. Really soft, dense, as good as some of the far more expensive ones I own. I washed them as soon as they were delivered because they had a slight chemical smell. Absolutely no shedding and they retained their shape perfectly. They come with a fake leather travel bag that is also very good quality. I think the set was $69 and they have another cheaper one with fewer brushes. Just wanted to throw that out there for all the guys and girls who may be looking for an affordable complete set.

    • the Muse

my pleasure deb 😀 I have a few coastal scent brushes and they are very nice 😀 Excellent recommendation 😀

      • Cj

You need their bionic flat top buffer if you don’t have it yet. I have 4 lol. Way better than the sigma f80, I can’t believe it’s only $6

  • Barb

their brushes really are AMAZING! if you don’t get this… at least get one from their collection… you’ll throw all other brushes out 🙂

  • Sara

I have their large powder brush and it’s amazing! I hadn’t had too much luck with finishing powders before using that brush, plus it’s sooo soft I often spend a little more time than necessary blending, aka rubbing it all over my face 🙂

  • Darkeyedfran

Muse! Would you suggest this brush set over the one they are marketing for the holidays that comes with the stand? I really want one of the sets but I can’t decide!

    • the Muse

i haven’t tried that one fran but I will say any brush set from It is pretty damn awesome. They really do a fab job with their brushes so you should be happy either way you go!

  • amy

I just ordered this set of brushes, I tried my hardest to resist. I must say I did very well. I saw this set the day you posted this post. So I resisted long enough and I purchased this set. Can’t wait to get it.

  • elizabeth

Those shadow brushes look like they’d be too big. They’re way bigger than typical shadow brushes, aren’t they?

  • maksuda

Do you think think the eyeliner brush dense enough for a eyebrow brush? thank you.
