Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer Review & Swatches

Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer 1

Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer ($59) is a rather brilliant product that’s easy to overlook. This sounds like a highlighter of some sort but the translucent formula is available in range of 12 shades that act as the perfect radiant blush to give skin a healthy burst of beautiful color.

Take a look!

Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer

Housed in a pump style bottle Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer is illuminating veil of color. The texture has a watery, runny gel-like consistency and can be used in a variety of different ways. There are quite a few shades to choose from that act as correctors, blushers, or highlighters so you have a range of colors that can work in a number of different ways.

I personally like using them on my bare skin as they give a lovely hint of color that looks healthy, natural, and very pretty. Colors blend seamlessly into skin and have a solid 12 hour wear time without fading. I’m also able to control the pump easily so I get just the right amount of product out of the bottle without over doing it.

You can also add these to your foundation (depending on the shade you purchase) to add a glow to your base. The shade I have here is 12 which is a warm dark bronze-y red. It gives my cheeks and face a hint of reddish bronze with a fine, subtle shimmer. It’s an ideal color to use on its own or if you want you can warm up other blush shades with it. A tiny bit mixed in with foundation works well as an all over bronzer as well. The shade is best as a bronzer or blusher on bare skin in my opinion but if you have a pinker blush that you want to add warmth to you can use this under it for a bronze-y pink glow.

Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer Swatches

I really like no nonsense beauty for the weekends because as I get older I just appreciate something easy to apply when I don’t want a ton of products on my face. Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer is just that type of product. It applies with really minimal effort and know how. It has a long wear and the colors are very natural so you get that healthy glow of blush but nothing too dramatic for daily use. I also find the product an excellent pick for drier skin since it doesn’t accentuate drier areas or larger pores. The color blends out flawlessly with a seamless finish that looks perfectly natural.

Loves this stuff.

I love Fluid Sheer. I use #2 as a highlighter or like you on my bare skin. It is amazing…

I would love to try these as they have been mentioned by Allure, and they sound like a great multi tasker. I just don’t know which one I would get, haven’t tested them yet in person. I’m very fair usually the lightest shade in every brand, the nearest Armani counter is too far and I only get up to Mall of America once a yr which has a Nordstrom! which last time I was there I had my makeup done at Armani, but I don’t remember the lady using this product or mentioning it, so my guess is it wasn’t out yet.

The #2 (I think? The “sheer” looking one) is perfect for applying thinly under the eyes if you feel like it looks too powdery there. It brings enough brightness and a bit of moisture back to that area. I apply it after I’ve already set my concealer and it doesn’t crease on me.

Thanks for this post – I got a sample of one of the fluid sheers (can’t remember which shade) and it’s just been sitting on my vanity because I didn’t know what to do with it! I think I will try it as a highlighter first (I believe it’s one without much color payoff) but I would love to get a pinky-hued one and try it as a blush. I love glowy skin for this time of year! xo
