Guerlain (Crazy Pearls) Champs Elysees Meteorites Perles Holiday 2013

Guerlain (Crazy Pearls) Champs Elysees Meteorites Perles ($58) is one of at least 12 variations of Guerlain Illuminating Powder Meteorites I own. 12 is a conservative number…!

But I have to say these are by far my favorite Meteorites to date…!

Take a look!

Guerlain (Crazy Pearls) Champs Elysees Meteorites Perles are a limited edition release that will be available with the new Guerlain Crazy Paris Holiday 2013 Collection.

Guerlain in the past has always gone the traditional, classic route with their Holiday Collections however, there have been times where they had a little fun with the Holidays and indulged in purple instead of classic reds and golds for the Holidays! Remember the Guerlain Midnight Butterfly Collection for Holiday 2008?

Guerlain Champs Elysees Meteorites Perles

Guerlain Champs Elysees Meteorites Perles are a brand new selection of Meteorites that takes on more pink this years. The colors are created to capture the light and illuminate skin while evening out your tone. The shades included this particular release are purple, gold, two shades of pink, and beige. They have a heavy violet scent which is absolutely addicting to my nose…! I love the way Guerlain products smell. These come in a tin which is such a welcome change from the old cardboard containers. With constant use I find my containers would become sticky and break so I’m every so glad that the last several releases have come in a sturdy tin.

These surprised me as they do indeed give that gorgeous luminous glow but also a very lovely flush of pink across my cheeks that brightens and gives a prettier overall finish to your complexion. For the most part Meteorites are a subtle and they only add a touch of a glow but it’s enough to give a very flattering finish to your overall look without being overly shimmery or sparkly like more traditional Holiday highlighters. I have duller skin and this gives me just the right amount of brightness to my lackluster skin! As for more fairer skin tones you’ll likely be able to get away with this as a lighter blush as the pink does show through nicely.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. These look so fun! I have never heard of this product before, but I am definitely intrigued. How do you apply this, Muse? A powder brush? And would you recommend using this as an all-over highlighter, or just for cheeks? 🙂

For some reason the whole (CRAZY) name gets me LOL. I really love the black packaging with the bright pink, yellow, and orange lettering on the container.

I like the pink color it imparts, but I really would prefer a blue or purple glow. I really loved the Pucci perles, I kick myself for not buying 2, because the blue is so nice compared to my usually reddish skin.

These are so cool, this always makes the Allure list of beauty products to buy before you die, I’ve never purchased from this brand, although earlier in the yr I did end up purchasing La mer moisturizing gel cream, these are too cool, and pretty I would just want to play with them, I’ve heard many wonderful things, I’m trying desperately to use up what i have at the moment:(

hey girl! I love your page and have followed it for a long time and don’t think I have ever commented! I was wondering if you know if this product is limited edition or not? I really want to buy it but wanted to wait a little longer to get it but if its limited edition I want to buy it before its gone!

Hey .I have been eyeing for guerlain alot. I am looking for a face powder. I currently own Chanel poudre libre universelle and Givenchy mattisime powder foundation. I have a very dry skin so i sometimes use Nars tinted moisturizer, nars sheer glow or missha bb cream and I wanted a loose powder to make me look amazing . Are the meteorites worth the hype? Its like everyone loves it. I webt to try it in the store but couldnt see much difference like my chanel ones but I absolutely love the chanel ones. Hence i wanted to know an experts opinion since you know about so many products including guerlain and what are the other products worth buying. Thank you. I hope you reply soon and sorry for the comment being very long.
would you recommend Meteorites Crazy Pearls Illuminating Powder or guerlain meterite pearls the original in teint rose maybe for full face application. I have dry medium fairish olive skin. Sorry it is kind of an emergency since the country I an going to doesn’t have guerlain
