Kiehls Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator

You NEED Kiehls Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator ($40)! I love this stuff. It’s a basic, everyday moisturizer that totally agrees with my skin and now that the cooler weather is setting in its the perfect moisturizer for daily use that provides plenty of moisture and still remains lightweight and shine free.

Loves it.

Take a look!

Kiehls Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator addresses visible signs of long term premature aging caused by stress. Yup, that’s right! All those office stress frowns and angry grinding teeth grins are easily erased with the help of this little moisturizer. Serious.

I actually don’t stress out easily. It takes a lot to get on my nerves and for the most part I’m smiling and laughing my way through my life without many frowns. But I have my days….and when my anger does finally comes to a head well, it isn’t pretty.

But I think more of Kiehls Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator as a way to boast my skin up. I have duller, drier skin with no noticable signs of aging aside from finer lines under my eyes and puffiness. I’m just starting to notice or imagine laugh lines on the sides of my face. Too much smiling does a body bad kids! The idea of a moisturizer that would give my skin a jump start sounded terribly appealing and after months of using this moisturizer I must say I like it, a lot.

It quite reminds me of my beloved Clarins Beauty Balm. It’s the type of moisturizer that provides plenty of hydration with zero oiliness or shine, a formula that absorbs in a snap, an ideal under makeup lotion, and a perfect way to restore some life back into lackluster skin. Any and every morning when I use it I feel like my skin just visibly looks livelier. It relieves my dryness, keeps my skin nicely hydrated through the wear, and provides plenty of moisture to allow my foundation to apply easier. According to Kiehls it even battles blotchy or red skin and provides soothing relief! I don’t suffer from either issue but it does perform very well on my drier skin.

It also happens to contain something called Mannose which is a barrier protecting rare sugar that helps promotes skin recovery.

For me it’s a great daily moisturizer to start dull skin in the direction of healthy and fabulous.

Loves this stuff.

No fragrance, no fanfare, just awesome moisture, a gentle formula, and plenty of stress relief.

Can your moisture relieve stress?

Mine obviously can!

Hi Muse. You’re right, you NEED this stuff if you have dry skin like us. I’m almost done with my first bottle and will definitely repurchase. I can’t say that I’ve noticed any improvement in fine lines and so forth, but it is the perfect amount of moisture. Keeps my skin nicely hydrated and not greasy. I live in AZ and it’s starting to get really dry now. I am noticing that this is not quite as effective as it was a couple of months ago, so it may not be enough on it’s own when winter fully hits you.

hmmm curious deb we shall see as NY winters are rough so you might be right 😀

want to try this. Kiehl’s is a good brand, however; call me crazy but I wasn’t impressed by Clarins beauty flash balm, but I would like to try this. Wish it was in a gel formula and had some SPF though!

I’m a huge fan of kiehls! I have used a sample of this and will be purchasing a bottle sometime in the near future. I used it when my skin went wacko one weekend and I could definitely tell it helped. It feels so good too.

Hey Muse! I’ve always been curious of Kiehl’s, but I always go back to Clinique, as it’s a safe spot…but doesn’t produce any wow results for me, and after multiple attempts with other companies, I’m kind of meh. Which do you prefer? Kiehl’s or Clinique?

I received a 15 ml sample of this moisturizer and after trying it for more than one month, I totally agree with you Muse! I also have dry skin like you, Ive been searching for a good moisturizer that really hydrates my skin and the Kiehls one does a really good job! Also, I have some redness in my cheeks and I noticed after several uses that they dissapeared. So Im gonna buy it for sure!

I wonder how this compares to the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Soothing Moisturizer? That’s my current favorite right now, and it sounds like it has the same skin benefits as this one, although I wish it was more moisturizing, so I might just have to check this Kiehls one out!

DO it 😀 it’s great stuff! Of course 🙂 my eyes were glued to the screen! Ipad Air sounds tempting!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Cj

How weird is it they kept the ipad 2 and at 399 still?? Who would buy that lol 3 generations old and only 100 cheaper than the new air. I’m gonna get the new mini, a bit disappointed it doesn’t have touch ID but I’ll get over it 😛

        • the Muse

prob they are thinking of the extra hardware thus the price. but the air looks tempting but might not be as sturdy as the original…I’m getting the new mini as well, want the new screen (mine is first generation and screen isn’t as awful).

hi muse, comparing this to Dr.Jart ceramindine cream/ light cream, which one would you suggest?? i totally need a good moisturizer for winter.

    • the Muse

hi ele I don’t know your skin type so it’s a little difficult to recommend something without having any idea what sort of skin you have. the two products are also vastly different formulas and aren’t really comparable to each other so really depends what you are looking for in a moisturizer for your skin type. Just throwing out a name and saying buy this isn’t going to really help you if I don’t know anything at all about your skin.

I bought this impulsively online without really researching it, my skin has recently started to break out horribly with lots of congestion and oiliness, I thought it might be a better alternative to my ultra facial cream by Kiehl’s that I normally use when my skin is fine. Can anyone tell me if the skin rescuer will help soothe the discomfort of my breakouts or make it worse? 🙁
