MAC Divine Night Cremesheen Glass Review & Swatches
The MAC Divine Night Cremesheen Glass ($22) is a selection of five new, limited edition shades that launched with the MAC Divine Night Holiday 2013 Makeup Collection. There’s something to be said about the shade Prepare for Pleasure which I recently tested out.
Want a festive red for the holidays?
MAC Prepare for Pleasure Cremesheen Glass is your lady!
MAC Prepare for Pleasure Cremesheen Glass is a rather impression gloss. It’s not sticky, it has a cream-like consistency with a high shine that wears very comfortably. On the downside although they appear bigger than the typical MAC Lipglass they are actually smaller in size weighing at 0.08 oz versus 0.17 oz of a Lipglass.
MAC Prepare for Pleasure Cremesheen Glass is a blue based red. I typically feel uncomfortably in shades of red like this as I lean towards warmer reds but this is really quite a festive shade. Color wears for a solid four hours on my lips and the shade is quite a beautiful Holiday red so if you are able to sport cooler shades of red with bluer undertones you should adore this one. There’s no shimmer or sparkle here either so color is true to tube. It isn’t completely opaque at first application though so you need at least three layers/applications before you’ll get a full opaque finish. It has a glass-like finish that’s quite glossy thus the name.
If I loved colors like this I’d be all over…I just wish it was a touch warmer!
But those who can rock it will adore it I’m sure.
A very festive red for the Holidays!
