MAC Private Party Lipstick Review & Swatches
MAC Divine Night Lipsticks ($16.50) have launched in five new and limited edition shades for the Holidays kids with the new MAC Divine Night Holiday 2013 Makeup Collection.
MAC Private Party Lipstick is a very interesting shade, as interesting as say the new Lavish Living Blush, that you may pass up if you’re not a daring makeup sort…
But I’m here to say it is divine.
Take a look!
Far be it for me to recommend you purple lipstick! Lord knows I’m scared of it. But MAC Private Party is apparently a dirty plum mauve…oh…ok, that sounds better than purple.
To me it’s more plum! Again, not a shade I’d go with typically but the cool pink tone and the creamy satin finish makes for a very stunning lip color. It applies beautifully well with a creamy texture that glides on without tugging and it wears quite comfortably as well for a solid four hours without feeling dry or migrating. Color also stays true and intense through that wear.
MAC seems to have gone with a traditional plum look for the holidays and I like it. I’m thinking paired up with a gold eye look of some sort that Private Party should make you the seductress at upcoming Holiday parties.
