Manuka Doctor Apinourish Rejuvenating Face Mask Review
Manuka Doctor Apinourish Rejuvenating Face Mask ($85) recently launched at Sephora and just in time for the Winter weather. That’s right, Winter feels really close now. I woke up this morning, showered, dressed, stepped out of my door and the cold hit me right in the face. Brrrr!
You know what that means right?
Dry skin!
Flakes, dullness, patchy dry areas….you know the drill and if you already have dry skin you’re probably preparing yourself for the cold weather and stocking up on products that will keep your skin as hydrated as possible.
Manuka Doctor Apinourish Rejuvenating Face Mask restores much needed moisture, tones skin, and renews your entire face in a single application.
Take a peek!
I was a little skeptical of Manuka Doctor Apinourish Rejuvenating Face Mask as it a small amount (1.69 oz) with a higher price tag of $85 but this stuff is pretty incredible.
The treatment mask is a rich, nourishing cream which you apply and leave on for 15-30 minutes. It absorbs almost fully by the time you’re ready to remove it so you can just gently swipe away any access after. You can also use it as a leave on moisturizer but it is fairly rich so a little goes a very long way. The cream has a fresh scent which kinda reminds me of yogurt, honey, and milk.
The treatment combines enzymes, peptides, and amino acids found in Purified Bee Venom to stimulate collagen production and apparently renew damaged skin cells to restore moisture while toning skin. I suffer from duller skin so for me in restores much needed moisture and glow to my lackluster skin. The morning after my skin looks brighter, healthier, and more supple. It is an anti-aging product but I do not have lines or loss of elasticity so I’m unsure if it is toning or firming my skin but hopefully as a preventive measure it’ll help my future skin look incredible in a few years time.
This contains Manuka Honey and Royal Jelly so you can imagine how very hydrating it is. There’s also Kaolin Light Clay, Rosehip and Blackcurrant Seed Oil, as well as Vitamin E, Cocoa and Shea Butter.
I wouldn’t recommend it for those with oily skin but if you’re skin is aging at the moment or you have duller, drier skin I do recommend trying this out to restore much needed hydration!
The price makes me wince but if splurging means my skin will look this good everyday I’ll happily indulge (and have, just brought my second jar eep!).
