Maybelline Matte Limited Edition Color Tattoo (New Shades) Swatches

Maybelline Matte Limited Edition Color Tattoo Eyeshadow

Today I have swatches of the new Matte Brown, Just Beige, and Nude Pink Maybelline Limited Edition Matte Color Tattoo (new shades) Eyeshadows that just launched for Holiday 2013 with the Maybelline Gilded in Gold Collection.

My lovely makeup sis Christina texted and emailed me yesterday to give me a heads up they popped into stores so I started calling around and was able to locate them at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Harmons and Bed, Bath and Beyond seem to be the key locations for grabbing these at the moment and hopefully we’ll see a larger launch as the end of the month grows nearer.

Take a look!

I have reviews upcoming on all three shades but here are a few swatches of each so you can get an idea what they look like. I’m not a matte girl but I’m wear Nude Pink today and quite love it.

Again, these are available at Harmons and Bed, Bath, and Beyond (if your store has a beauty section) thus far. I’ve stalked CVS and Walgreens but haven’t seen them there as of yet.

Good Luck finding them!

They might just be keepers but more on that later when I review Nude Pink for you!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. christine is one of my closest blogging friends, she is incredible and such a source of great support and friendship! but wasn’t her….:) hehe..it’s actually a reader and friend who also shares the same name 🙂

      • Ashley

oh teehee! either way, it’s so cool that you guys are friends! I visit your blog first, and then her’s on a daily basis 😉

aw shocks thanks Ashley…! She’s really incredible and so dedicated. I met her last year for the first time and she’s just as wonderful in person. I really wish we didn’t live on opposite sides of the country 😀 East coaster here and she’s west coast 🙁 boo! but her blog is incredible! ps kinda flattered you visit me first awwww! she has such a fountain of info surprise she isn’t your first stop 🙂

well, your blog was the first blog I found when I started my venture into makeup a couple years ago. I guess I trust you best, even though our skin types are completely different, and you look WAYY better a much larger range of colors. Plus, your humor and interest in asian cosmetics just sealed the deal! I’m your forever fan! 🙂

aw shucks thanks girl that means a lot to me! you’re oily? lucky girl 🙂 naaa I doubt that chica…I bet you look great too! don’t be scared to experiment with shades! LOL damn my ego is getting bigger and bigger…but seriously thank you, you’re kinda making me cry now!

Ashley, I am the same way! I always look at this blog first, then Temptalia. I love this blog because every review is like a new thought, not some copy and paste stuff. If I read three articles on this blog about different Color Tattoos, it would not feel like I’m reading the same exact paragraph from each review and I really like that. Know what I mean?

          • the Muse

lol you mean you enjoy my babbling commentary and weird fangurlisms in every post Alisha? hehe 😀 thank YOU! <3!

  • Leslie

OMG!!!!!! They sure are BEAUTIFUL! I’m a big fan of cream eyeshadow/base, and I HOPE TO GET MY HANDS on these when they arrive in Chicago! Thanks for posting and sharing GREAT pic! -Leslie

  • Bailey B

Must. Have. Looks like I got some Friday night plans! Thanks for sharing.

  • Manda

They’re all sold out at my local BB&B 🙁 *plots to stalk the store for when it gets restocked*

  • Laurel

I’m so glad I stole all of these from my BBB! I don’t know if it’ll be just me, but I feel like these three are creamier than the others I have. I have about 7 others and they all felt much drier than the consistency of these. These went on me more like a paint pot (which is awesome since Painterly is my daily go to base!) Can’t wait for your review!

    • the Muse

laurel I feel the same way VERY good texture…especially since the last around wasn’t great! lol I know…but I had a mental image of you racing out the door with them clutched in your hands anyway 🙂

  • K.B.

I wish these weren’t limited edition. I think it’s ridiculous that Maybelline hasn’t come out with matte skintone shades because I think they’d sell more of those than most of the more vibrant shades. (Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE those.)

  • Clio

These colours remind me of dessert! Also of the Fall ’13 MAC paint pots (Stormy Pink, etc…) And I’m definitely a matte girl, so I’m pretty sure I need all three of these 😉

  • Jennifer

OMG these colours are so prettty! I’m a big fan of the other shades! Though these are about $12 for just 1 here in Australia 🙁

  • mary brenner

Well muse I must say I love you and Christine from temptalia!♥♥ the two of you are killing me with all the holiday stuff! I must have these shadows all of them, love me some color tattoos♥ I bought the Bobbi Brown chocolate shadow palette because of you missy! Also got the lipstick and gloss you reviewed that went with it!

    • the Muse

aw me too mary and thank you I adore you too! this place wouldn’t be anything without reader’s like you around to enjoy it all (as much as I do)! I hope you find them you are going to adore them and by the very way they pair up well with the chocolate shadow palette 🙂 (I’m glad you like the palette because I love it too). YAYYYY! tea berry? must have! thank you for your lovely comment!

  • ChristinA

Hello My MakeUp Sista! It’s me and thank you for the mention. Always glad to give you a heads up when I can about these things, especially the Color Tattoos! BTW they are pretty awesome, aren’t they?

P.S. And not to be confused with Christine from Temptalia although her blog is great — you got my name right!

    • the Muse

hey sis this post would not be possible without you 😀 <3! they are incredible and you know I hate mattes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lisa

Aaaaah, Soft Ochre and Painterly dupes, finally! Now do a Rubenesque, Maybelline!

  • Abryda

I got the last 3 at Bed,Bath&Beyond & I LOOOOOVVVE!!!!! I have to agree they seem way creamier then the last duo chrome formula. LE really do kill me though trying to get these products when you know these are going to be so popular since they are multi-purpose.

  • Aida

Wow the colors are really pretty. They remind me of chocolate. =) Too bad that they are limited. I haven’t seen them yet in Europe. Hope they will launch them here too. =)

  • Jules

All three colors are beautiful. I think for me the two lighter shades would be great all over lid shades for a fresh look.
