NARS Guy Bourdin Holiday 2013 Gift Collection is a separate collection of gift sets that will be available outside of the core color collection. These launch at a later date than the The NARS Guy Bourdin Holiday 2013 Color Collection and will be available as of November 1st.

Note: After careful consideration and research I have decided not to cover or review the NARS Guy Bourdin Holiday 2013 Collection. Guy Bourdin was a controversial pulp photographer and some of his images are controversial, morbid, and offensive to women. Being a women myself I’ve decided to cease coverage on this collection!     And im pretty sure ill need to pick up the one stand cheek palette as well. A girl can never have too many Nars blushes, right?!

    Thank you for NOT covering this! It seems certain companies do shock value to sell their products instead of relying on the quality of their products. As much as I love their lip pencils, I, like you, will not be buying these sets.

    That blush palette is abso-freaking-lutely STELLAR. I need it. Badly.
    However, after doing my own research, I have to agree with our Magnificent Muse. I love NARS products, but my sense of morality is worth more than a $65 blush palette.
    I wouldn’t be surprised to find a boycott against this collection turn up.

    SIDE NOTE: Whilst doing my research, I learned that David LaChapelle is an adamant admirer of the late Bourdin. Tally another mark in the heartbreak column :-/.

It really is gorgeous…..yeah I think it could potentially stir up some controversy 🙁 art interpretation is always a cause for great debate and Bourdin def has some questionable pieces! francois is as well apparently! supposedly he cut up Bourdin’s adverts and hung them up on his wall.
