Ponds Flawless White Re-Brightening Night Treatment 1

Ponds Flawless White Re-Brightening Night Treatment ($14.20) is a night cream that promises to work overnight to lighten skin while reducing the appearance of dark spots and blemishes.

Yes, if you scratched your head when I said dark spots AND blemishes you aren’t alone. I’ve never really put the two issues into the same category so I find it interesting this cream was formulated to fight acne and dark spot issues.

Hmm!

This is an Asian only release however, we have the Ponds Luminous Clean Collection here in the US which actually has a new Clarant B3 Dark Spot Correcting Cream so it’s around the same product if not for a few different ingredients perhaps (I haven’t tried the US version nor have I compared it to this formula).

User beware especially sensitive skin types Ponds Flawless White Re-Brightening Night Treatment has a mighty strong, fresh floral scent. I find it very pleasant but I imagine it’ll be quite irritating to those who are sensitive to fragrance in their skincare products. I find it ironic that the it’s formulated to relieve blemishes yet has so much fragrance it in that it could just cause

The formula contains a VAO-BR complex to fade dark spots and blemishes it also apparently brightens up tired, duller skin. I’ve used it for over two months and can’t say I noticed any brighter of an appearance or any fading of my dark spots.

On a good note it does have a rather nice consistency that absorbs fully into my skin and leaves it plenty hydrated. In restore moisture to my skin it does ease dullness slightly as my personal problem is dull skin due to dryness so it this in excels. As an overnight moisturizer it provides plenty of moisture to aging or drier skin.

On the down side I really can’t say it did much for my minor dark spot areas or even to brighten or whiten my complexion. It does however, have rave reviews across the boards from many bloggers/users so perhaps it just wasn’t something that worked for my particular skin.

As an overnight moisturizer it works excellent to restore hydration to my skin but just doesn’t relieved on the promise of ridding me of dark spots!

Oh well!

I didn’t even thin I was sensitive to scents until I tried this, I couldn’t bare putting it on my face when I thought about how much fragrance is in this just like you and just used it on my legs.

it really is very strongly scented…I like fragrance in my skincare but damnyum!

I bought the entire line due to all the rave reviews (they had a promotion… some sort of challenge that had a prize, hence so many reviews) but this was the worst stuff I ever put on my skin. I know YMMV but the entire line severely broke me out and for a long time. No results either. I was too cheap to toss it but after an extended period of time, it was really ruining my skin so I started just using stuff as hand and foot lotion.

oh no jess! thankfully no issues with break outs here but it didn’t do much for me either aside from giving some great moisture to my drier skin.

My mom bought me this when she came back from China! She wanted me to lose the beach tan I had from summer vacation and I’ve gotta say my skin’s never been fairer after using it. Also did wonders fading my blemishes. The results may have been more drastic to me though since I had darker skin to begin with.

I bought something similar to this in Mexico when I went to visit family and it’s an ok night time moisturizer. This is the first time that I’ve actually used a different moisturizer at night so I really can’t compare it with anything. As for the Clarant B3 moisturizer, I have been using that for about 10yrs or more and it’s by far my favorite moisturizer!
