St. Ives Fresh Hydration Continuous Mist Lotions Collection

St. Ives Fresh Hydration Continuous Mist Lotions Collection

St. Ives Fresh Hydration Continuous Mist Lotions ($5.99-$7.99 at drugstores) are a newly launched lotion mist from the brand that takes the heavy out of your moisturizer. I happen to be very diligent about my facial care but when it comes to caring for my body I’m a little lazier. I dislike heavy body cream and moisturizers because they either feel too sticky or they make me glide when I walk (seriously, things can be a little too moisturizing sometimes)!

But a lightweight mist that hydrates? Cool!

St. Ives Fresh Hydration Continuous Mist Lotion are a mist or spray on lotion much like Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer that you can spritz onto legs, arms, and body to provide mess-free application of your moisturizer! Made from 100% natural moisturizers such as shea butter and glycerin the lightweight mist provides lightweight hydration without being heavy, slow to absorb, or sticky!

Available formulas:

St. Ives Naturally Soothing Oatmeal & Shea Butter Fresh Hydration Lotion Mist
A delicately scented lotion with white floral, honey, almond, and coconut notes that’s formulated specifically to soothe dry skin with oatmeal & shea butter known to specifically soothe drier skin.

St. Ives Naturally Indulgent Coconut Milk & Orchid Extract Fresh Hydration Lotion Mist

I’m excited about these! Good to know they come in three scents. Let us know how you like them!

I LOVE St. Ives so I’ve been hunting these down! Just scored the Oatmeal and the Coconut one at my CVS. They’re $8.29 a pop but buy one get one 1/2 off. Can’t wait to try them out!

    • the Muse

OH BOGO at CVS? Must go get some! Wanna stuff my sister’s stocking with ’em, she loves stuff like this!

  • SusanT

Muse, the citrus has my name on it, I LOVE grapefruit, and I love the idea that this is a light moisturizer with a mist, but the only thing that’s scaring me is the mention of patchouli. Why patchouli is included in anything is beyond me. Really, does anyone want to smell like dirty hippy???

      • Angel

LOL, I love patchouli but it sure is polarizing. I’m no hippie, that’s for sure. I bet it’s fairly subtle in this. Patchouli is commonly used in citrus fragrances believe it or not. They balance each other quite well. I’m really anxious to hear how the Oatmeal and coconut ones smell. I love coconut as long as it’s not totally Coppertone city.

Hey muse, ever tried simple coconut oil for moisturizing? Yeah, the stuff in the jar you can cook with. It’s amazing. The tiniest amount covers a large area and actually absorbs quickly with no greasiness. I know it sounds crazy but it’s true! I was way over applying it on my legs and it never sunk in. I finally got a grip and went with the less is more approach and it’s perfect. And cheap!

No kid? I’ll have to give it a whirl angel I’m always looking for ways to hydrate legs! thanks for the tip!

TO Susan and Musekin, I take great offense to your reference to smelling like a dirty hippy regarding patchouli!! Hippy, yes, dirty not. There are a gazillion different patchoulis out there and a connaseur can discern the crap from the elegant and enchanting and enrapturing….Open your nostrils and soar…ladies.
so I went to CVS drooling over the possibility of finding the “patchouli” variety of St. Ives. Of course, they only had the other two, so I got the ordhiddy one. Texture is very light and absorbing, I really can’t stand body lotions etc but his is airy and leaves a nice scent which has lingered for
15 minutes so far and counting. Have a Divine day ladies, and Oh yeah I forgive you both.

      • the Muse

sorry mindy 🙂 and you’re right when combined with proper notes it is wearable…I just always associate it with Lush Karma (which I HATE)…! I’m sorry. forgive me? 😀 yay happy to hear it! I haven’t tried them yet but testing next week! can’t wait as I hate too rich body creams/lotions! Happy Almost Weekend!

        • mindy

hey Musekin, a few years ago I bought some Lush products, what crap!! I got a fungus which I struggled with for over a year…I’m officially calling it “weekend” NOW. May your arrive ASAP, hugs

          • the Muse

whoa sorry to hear it! I’m a huge Lush fan never had a prob with fungus! jeepers! LOL amen sis! amen! I’m working on 90 mins sleep and ready for this party to get started ASAP! ;-D xoxo!

  • Bree

I am so excited about these! Must hunt them down! I love how easy they are! However the mist is a a little too cold to spray on the stomach area this time of year! That’s the only bad thing.

  • Tanya

I have the Vaseline one in the yellow can which I like alot, but these sound like they smell SO much better. I can’t wait to find them!

  • Celine

I’m quite interested on the coconut one, cause I’m a sucker for that smell. Question, are spray lotions like this something you could put in the fridge for a bit. Think if you could, the coconut one would be perfect for next Summer.

  • Lacy

I just scored two of these at CVS too, 7.99 but on bogo! , plus i got a cvs card coupon for $2 off a lotion purchase and a 25% off entire purchase so i made out well! I picked up the shea and oatmeal one and the coconut milk with orchid one. Both a light sense and are non greasy feeling. They absorb quickly and work great. Id say they are equally as nice as the vaseline ones which ive had but my only qualm is the force at which the spray comes out is a bit more fotceful if you will compared to the vaseline. So its not as light of a mist or stream making it despense more rather than a nice misty coating of tge vaseline. So just be careful upon first couple uses. HTH and made sense!!!

  • Joan

Have to have these. I ordered all three from drugstore.com. As always, Muse, thanks for the info.

  • kbeard

I wonder if these are oil-free so I can use on my back. (Eww, overshare, Kaitlin.) Seriously, though, that grapefruit one will be MINE.

  • DivaShop

Can’t wait to see your review on these, particularly the oatmeal & shea butter! 🙂
