Tarte Honored Amazonian Clay Blush

Tarte Honored Amazonian Clay Blush is a dusky tan rose that recently launched in the Tarte Leave Her Blushing Set for Holiday 2013 and will be available in a four blush set later next month entitled Royal Flush that will be exclusively at QVC.com.

I’ll be reviewing both sets soon but I thought I’d give you a little peek at the Tarte Honored Amazonian Clay Blush today!

There’s more details of this little blush upcoming when I review the sets it comes in but so far I’m loving the shade. It’s a pretty dusky tan rose that creates a pretty flush of dusky peach rose on my cheeks. It isn’t too loud or outrageous so I can go really subtle with it when I’m playing up my eyes. I have a habit of wearing blush a little too heavily and it interferes with my eye looks so I am trying to tame it down and go softer. This is a perfect shade to do that. And hey, if you want to go more dramatic you can because it is quite pigmented. The texture is soft and silky and the wear time as with all Amazonian Blushes is a solid eight to twelve hours without losing intensity.

I haven’t compared it to shades in my stash but will do when I do a deeper review and swatches of the set in the next few weeks!

Stay tuned for more soon with swatches!

Did you purchase the Leave Her Blushing Set already?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. tarte’s website and sephora has a different three piece blush set that includes this one and later on qvc will have a four blush set with the shade so you have options of how and where to buy 😀

I need this shade. Hopefully it’ll come out on its own some day… I was hoping Exposed would look something like this on me, but I’m sooo neutral that any color of blush is amplified.

I am really curious about how this compares to Exposed. My first impression is that they seem really similar.

What?! QVC will have a tarte blush set. I was already set on getting the 3 piece from the tarte website. Too many tarte kits?! Gaaaah!

MUSE! you’re killing me. So many blushes, so many choices. First Nars, now Tarte. Love it!!!!

I’ve been using Tarte foundation for about three years now and I refuse to use anything else. It always gives a fresh look all through out the day no matter what. I never even thought to experiment with their blushes. I’m definitely excited to give this a try!
