Heads up Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara fans as now you can snag the Bare Minerals Double Domination Mascara Set ($18) for the Holidays. This set includes one full size tube of Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara ($18 retail) and one deluxe size (0.18 oz versus full size of 0.37 oz).

Take a look!

I know at some point in my life I’ll take over the world but I’m unsure if the Bare Minerals Double Domination Mascara Set will be part of my master plan or even my sidekick (Burt Ward will be though! He always reminded me of a less coked up Sal Mineo).

Bare Minerals Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara launched this past Summer for a Fall 2013 push. It promises volumized, longer lashes with a lifted, thicker lash look.

Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara

For some reason this mascara formula has a learning curve. The spiraled 180 degree curved brush is interesting but it doesn’t quite work out for me as I have to do “the wriggle” and twist the wand at the same time but end up getting rather poor results.

The formula is thick so it clumps my lashes up and creates a bit of a mess. I feel like I have very little control of the brush and my lashes end up going spidery. The brush is part of the problem as it creates a gloopy mess! This results in smearing for me which is rare as my mascara never smears.

Needless to say it doesn’t work for me but some folks love it which is why the Bare Minerals Double Domination Mascara Set might make it on your world domination check list or at the least your Holiday one as you get a full size and a deluxe size for the price of one!

I snagged this set when I had my Ulta 20% off coupon a few weeks ago. I really like this mascara a lot (surprising b/c I actually hate the look of the brush). Sorry it doesn’t work for you!

I feel very blasphemous. I love Lash Domination and think that They’re Real is just okay! :O Honestly, one day I did a side-by-side comparison and there just was NO comparison! I am definitely not a wiggler though! I feel like it’s like Windows versus Mac: the brush actually gives you excellent control but it’s not very user friendly.

I received a sample of this and had a lot of difficulty with the brush, It is just too wide and cumbersome, It was smearing all over my lids (above & below). Finally, in frustration I threw it out. I like They’re Real much better.
