I think this one is one of my favorite sets from Bare Minerals this year and the value is incredible. The Brightening Pearl Perfect Light Mineral Veil was a pleasant surprise. I typically don’t use Mineral Veil all that often but this is a beautiful beige golden beach with a tiny hint of golden shimmer. It’s silky, soft, finely milled and blends easily into skin! It doesn’t accentuate my drier areas and gives my completed look a beautiful airbrushed glow.

Of course, it goes without saying that Ready Eyeshadow Palettes are incredible. The shadows always have a soft, buttery texture and blend easily onto lids with very little effort at all. The Main Event is made up of cooler shades that give eyes a crisp, Wintery look. There’s a very pretty taupe here, entitled Cheers which looks incredible all its own on lids for a smoky look. Or you can pair it with Ball Gown for a frosty champagne accented with a smoky taupe on the outer lid. There’s some frost in these shades so I do recommend blending well if you’re not a lover of the finish. I find a cream shadow base helps diminish the frost and gives a smoother finish. The set also includes a full size Lash Domination Mascara which is Bare Mineral’s newest voluminzing formula! If you haven’t tried it yet this is an excellent way to do so this retails for $18 on its own. Read my review of it here. To complete your eyes there’s a Liquid Smoke & Define Double Ended Eyeliner that contains a slanted cream eyeliner on one side and a felt tip liquid liner on the other. The cream side has a creamy easy glide texture on eyes without smudging or smearing on my drier eyes. The felt tip liquid liner has a thin, precise point with a pigmented formula that flows easily across the lash line. I wore this on a super windy day when my eyes were watery and it stood up very well without smudging, flaking, or smearing.

Stiletto, Celebrate, Ball Gown, Cheers

For your face there’s a warm shade of subtle pink in the set entitled Glamour Blush. Glamour seems like it goes a bit peachy on my cheeks but it compliments the Ready Eyeshadow Palette perfectly as it adds a touch of color to cheeks but doesn’t overwhelm your look. My favorite product in the set was the Ready Luminizer in Magic Moment as it reminds me of the Bare Minerals Ready Color Boost The Adrenaline Rush. The shade is a warm luminous bronze-y rose and it adds a touch of color and glow to cheeks so it’ll intensify the look of Glamour and give it more depth and glow when applied on top. The texture is a smooth and velvety with an easy to blend out formula. It’s actually the only product in the set that isn’t full size but it still is a generous 0.16 oz powder!

Blush and Mineral Veil

For lips you get Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Dazzler which is a delicate golden melon that reminds me of Big Spender with a little less pigment. I love the Moxie Gloss formula as it gives my lips a lovely plush finish. The formula runs thicker with a bit of stickiness that allows it to wear for a solid four to five hours. It has a peppermint flavor and fragrance that has a slight tingle on lips.

To complete your look Bare Minerals includes a how to get the look guide with step by step instructions for application as well as two brushes one for cheeks and one for eyes.

All of the pieces in the set feature a very pretty rose gold mirror packaging! Rose Gold was trending heavily this year and when I opened this set I was delighted they went with the shade for the packaging. It’s pretty, elegant, and has a festive feel.

Needless to say this set is an incredible value even when you tack on the cost of shipping! Whether for a gift or yourself this is a great collection of products that any Bare Minerals fan will adore.
