Chanel Farouche (122) Rouge Allure Lipstick ($34) is one of three new limited edition shades of lipstick that launched with the Chanel Nuit Infinie de Chanel Holiday 2013 Collection.

Chanel Farouche Rouge Allure Lipstick is one of those shades you might pass up on it because it contains a bit too much brown but…don’t let it fool you! It’s a rather stunning little shade.

Chanel Farouche (122) Rouge Allure Lipstick is a warmer chocolatey brown at a glance but underneath all that brown you’ll find a slight hint of plum. The plum livens the shade up and makes it more wearable for me! The color is fully opaque and has a creamy satin finish that’s very pleasant to apply and wear.

This is a shade I wouldn’t typically reach out for but the one thing I love about Musings of a Muse is I get to experiment and discover colors that are a little outside my comfort zone. This adds a lovely touch of warmth to lips and makes a beautiful pairing with a smoky eye look.

Don’t miss it.

It looks a little intimidating in the tube but applied it’s a wonderfully sultry shade of plummy chocolate!
