Chanel Indecise Rouge Allure

Chanel Indecise (125) Rouge Allure Lipstick ($34) is one of three limited edition Rouge Allure Lipstick shades launched with the Chanel Nuit Infinie de Chanel Holiday 2013 Collection.

Chanel Indecise Rouge Allure Lipstick isn’t a shade I’d typically go for but since I’m on a nude kick lately this fits right into my little stash of nude lipstick shades.

Chanel Indecise Rouge Allure Lipstick is a beige pink frost but it comes across as more of a peachy beige shimmer on my lips. It’s rather drying I admit and it does run sheerer if you don’t build it up but the color astounds with a little clear gloss on top. Clear gloss just brings out the very pretty golden sparkle in the formula and makes the finish and feel of the gloss considerably more comfortably. At first application it was a tad too frosty for my tastes but after I applied the gloss it just looked so much more nicer!

What a stunning pinkish nude! I may just have to invest in this one because i’m sooo picky when it comes to nudes. I don’t think i have any at the moment 🙁

It’s funny that you mention dryness as an issue with their lipsticks. I shelled out $34 for a lipstick, the girl at the counter applied it on me and I was sold it matches my natural lip color perfectly. However, it was very drying, and didn’t last long on at all. Recently purchased their Hydra shine coco lipstick, with a rounded tip, and they are very sheer and don’t last long on either, for that price I know I’m not impressed by their lipsticks, their lip glosses are fantastic!

the shine coco is def the better formula! moist, hydrating, and nice sheer color 😀

lol for a chanel lipstick, should you really have to ‘deal’ with anything at $34 a pop???? lol I love me some chanel but I stay away from that formula, I hate the frostiness in the lipsticks

Hmmm – not a fan of that colour.

By the way have you checked out the palette yet from this collection? I went to the counter and swatched it but was pretty underwhelmed…. I normally like warm neutrals, but these shadows swatched quite powdery and the dark brown colour was patchy. Would expect better quality for the price.

    Love your blog.

Could you find me a lipstick which is the same color as Chanel Indecise please?

    Thanks x
