Chapstick Candy Cane Trio Tin Review

Chapstick Candy Cane Trio Tin

Tis the season for cute little stocking stuffers and this Chapstick Candy Cane Trio Tin ($2.99) will definitely be tucked into my sister’s stocking this year!

Chapstick Trio Tin

The new limited edition Holiday ChapStick Trio Tints are $2.99 at Walmart (and other mass drugstore retailers) and include three full size Chapsticks. They actually have a variety of flavors and tins to choose from I just went with a Candy Cane one because my sister loves peppermint anything. I’m not really super keen on Chapstick and prefer Soft Lips formula in all honesty but as a cute inexpensive stocking stuffer I think these tins are rather sweet!

I should have really led into this post with my story about this one time at band camp when I ate an entire Cherry Chapstick….but I figured everyone did that at some point in their childhood and I really shouldn’t over share.

Chapstick Holiday Tin

Oops.

Guess I already did.

Grab these tins now at drugstores.

I purchased this item.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Nope, you’re definitely not the only one. My sisters would come home to teeth marks in their Cherry chapstick all the time! 😀

I’m pretty sure I ate some cherry chapstick back in the day. Have you tried the dessert Chapsticks (cake batter, red velvet, etc.)? I haven’t located them in stores yet.

    • the Muse

i have they are rather delicious ;-D the apple cider is awesome..! ha I think we all ATE a cherry chapstick at some point in our lives…!

  • ruth

No shame, I used to eat chapsticks and matches. but not together- that’s just taking it too far.

      • Miss D

OMG- I ate matches too! Just the tips and yeah, I know, it’s like WTF?! I’m sure I was burning a hole in my esophagus and stomach doing that. Now I think “was I crazy?” But I do love the smell of gasoline to this day, so I dunno what’s wrong with me! XD
As for Chapstick- I believe I possibly licked on them a few times, but I don’t think I’ve taken a whole bite out of it. But, knowing me, I wouldn’t be surprised if I had.

LOL! It’s ok, I think I ate a Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker when I was little, and more recently I took a bite out of a vegan lip balm. It didn’t taste anywhere near as good as it smelled so I spit it out. I seriously question my sanity at times, lol.

  • Cindy Ramirez

Spoiler Alert! I hope your sis doesn’t read everything you post on your blog. Lulz

I am also guilty of eating a vanilla cupcake lip smacker, and it tasted absolutely disgusting and I spit it out. And I use to love the smell of those purple glue sticks I used to use in school, actually, I still love the smell of them. I’m a weirdo!

    • the Muse

LOL ;-D she reads on and off so I’m sure I spoiled at least once or two gifts ;-D! I love the smell of gas so we’ll be nuts together 😀

I just picked up Gingerbread Kiss today and OMG. It tastes divine and my lips feel incredible. I don’t know why I strayed from Chapstick for so long!

      • Miss D

Oh, I know of someone who once accidentally ate canned dog food once. I personally haven’t tasted anything like that, but I bet they don’t taste much different from our own food.
Let’s put it this way- I absolutely LOVE Taco Bell (my co-worker calls it Taco Hell!) and I believe they was a news story awhile back saying that is one step away from dog food, so…um, yeah! XD

      • Na

LOL it was! I could eat some right now, heehee – but it’s prooooobably not good for humans to eat, so I’ll be good and resist. 🙂

We all do things we aren’t proud of at band camp…. my friend and I once splattered a rotten kiwi all over the drum major. Luckily, the drum major was ALSO my cousin, otherwise we may just have been killed.
