Coastal Scents Bright Eyed Eye Brightener Review & Swatches

coastal scents bright eyed eye brightener

Coastal Scents Bright Eyed Eye Brightener ($9.95) is an eye brightener that gives the appearance of a well rested look. What? I need it!

Take a look!

Coastal Scents Bright Eyed Eye Brightener quite reminds me of products like Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer + Brightener, Bare Minerals Stroke of Light, and Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener but with a nicer price tag and a more pigmented formula.

This comes in a squeeze tube and it is available in three shades. I purchased the Light shade which is a light pinkish peach. It has a creamy texture with hydrating feel so it blends easily under eyes but it sets to a satiny soft finish. It isn’t pigmented enough to use as a concealer on its own but best suited for correcting purpose. However, if you don’t typically use concealer and you have redness, veining, or dark circles under your eyes this is an ideal way for lightly cover and correct those issues.

I personally use it under or sometimes over my own concealer. I simply apply my concealer, do my eye makeup, and complete my look by dabbing a little in the hollow below my eye, just where my cheek bone begins. I also sometimes apply it to prep prior to concealer to correct darkness and pat my concealer on top.

I was a little worried as I’ve used products like this in the past and found them disappointing but the pigment of the product is actually enough to really brighten up the eye area and correct darkness while giving you the appearance of being well rested.

I like it a lot!

And for $9.95 it’s well worth a purchase.

If you struggle with tired eyes or dark circles Coastal Scents Bright Eyed Eye Brightener is on the case!

I love product and I’ve been using it for a few years. I use it under a cream or powder concealer.

i have this and it’s an awesome corrector! it has the right amount of pink to correct my brownie areas around my eyes. i previously tried the giorgio armani corrector that was pink but it had too much pink in it and there was a lot of sparkly micas in it that you can see when in full blown sunlight. wasn’t very flattering for me since i’m starting to get lines under my eyes :-(
