Covergirl Tru Blend Collection for Spring 2014

Covergirl Tru Blend Fixstick Corrector

Introducing Covergirl Tru Blend Fixstick Corrector and Covergirl Tru Magic Luminizer, Sunkisser, and Tru Magic Skin Perfector Mattifier for the Spring 2014 season!

Take a look!

Covergirl has extended their Tru Blend Foundation to include several new shades and with the launch there is a new Covergirl Tru Blend Fixstick Corrector and Concealer Pencil much like the recently introduced L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer launched earlier this year.

Covergirl Tru Magic Balms

Covergirl Spring 2014

Along with the collection you’ll find the new Covergirl Tru Magic Luminizer, Sunkisser, and Tru Magic Skin Perfector Mattifier. These are silicone-like balms that you can smooth on your face for natural color, highlighting, or priming! I reviewed the Perfector yesterday and likened it to Mally Face Defender.

I ran across the collection at Harmons and Bed, Bath, and Beyond but you can also check Christmas Tree Shops as they have a beauty selection and seem to release collections at the same time as their sister stores (Harmons and BBB).

Anyone try these items yet?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I just saw these @ BBB in Paramus. the Perfector looks exactly like the Mally Product (I would underline if I could), it would be interesting to sample the bronzing and shimmering versions.

Ugh those dark shades aren’t dark! I hope with Janelle in the promo there are actual dark shades.

It looks like it states she’s wearing D6 in the promo (although it is a bit blurry).

I have a bunch of BB&B coupons, and plan to be near the one that carries makeup this weekend, so I’m crossing my fingers! The luminizer & Perfector have caught my eye, and the bronzer looks like it may be worth looking at.

I bought the perfector and surprisingly loved it. My cvs had the full display yesterday…to include TESTERS! I was thrilled as I love a make up with yellow undertone…not a typical cover girl offering. I bought M4 and seriously am in love. I have rosacea an get the dry flaky cheeks, but I still love a matte finish. I expected to do my normal cvs return routine on this one! It’s lightweight, but has great coverage and a lovely matte finish (which I could see on my hand after applying the tester and walking around the store) I was not impressed with the crayon, very sheer and kind of luminous.
