Dior Khaki Design Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
Although released a bit ago today I decided to haul out my Dior Khaki Design Eyeshadow Palette ($60) for a lovely khaki eye look! I dunno what it is but khaki green and brown eyes just go together like PB&J!
Take a peek!
The Dior Khaki Design Eyeshadow Palette is made up of four powder eyeshadows and one cream eyeliner in a variety of greens that graduate in color from khaki, olive, to lighter pastel green. Dior has become more and more user friendly with their shadow palette as they have a diagram in the back of the box as well as in insert inside the box with application instructions. And there’s even a plastic insert fitted over the shadow palette that tells you where each shade goes on your eyes.
Too many times I run across Dior Eyeshadow Palettes that are a bit too frosty but Khaki Design doesn’t have the issue. These have a smooth, soft texture with excellent pigmentation a minimal amount of fall out and a shimmery, soft finish. They apply like a dream and blend out just as easily. The wear is surprisingly well on my lids without primer without losing intensity or creasing for a solid eight hours. The finely milled texture of the shadows have a velvety feel.
The liner shade was slightly disappointing at first since it’s a bit dense and feels hardened. However, once you swirl a brush in and warm it up it actually has a beautiful consistency that applies without skipping on the lash line. The color wears quite strongly without smudging on my drier eyes.
Needless to say this is a dream palette for those with brown eyes…the shades just go so well with brown eyes and make them look bigger, sultry, and mysterious!
If you haven’t discovered the joys of the Dior Khaki Design Eyeshadow Palette yet this one is definitely worth exploring.
