Essence of Beauty Sun Blossom Eau de Toilette Review

Essence of Beauty Sun Blossom Eau de Toilette

Essence of Beauty Sun Blossom Eau de Toilette ($9.99 at CVS) brings back memories of Elizabeth Arden Sunflower. I remember Sunflower being my first “grown up” perfume when I was in the 7th or 8th grade. Do they even have Sunflower on counter anymore?! I forget how much I loved it but thanks to CVS’s new Essence of Beauty Fragrance Collection I recalled how much I adored it.

Take a look!

Essence of Beauty Sun Blossom Eau de Toilette is on of several recently launched scents that are available exclusively at CVS. You might recall the Essence of Beauty Brushes but CVS is apparently remarketing the line and including other beauty products including some very fun fragrances.

Honestly, I probably wouldn’t give a collection like this a second glance simply because I always expect a no name brand of bath and body products to either smell bad or to have very little throw and linger. CVS proves me wrong.

These fragrances have a huge well lit end cap in most CVS locations which means your eye will be drawn to the “pretty” display upon seeing it. It looks like any mid-range counter set up might as it is well lit with well stock shelves containing body mists, creams, EDT’s, and a range of other products in over six different fragrance selections.

I picked up Sun Blossom on a whim and I tried out many of the other scents available and was quite pleased. Apparently this is simply a relaunch but for me it’s an entirely new product as I hadn’t taken note of it before.

The scent is a lively slightly sweet blend of green leaves and sunflowers with a touch of sandalewood. It’s pretty much a spot on dupe of Elizabeth Arden’s Sunflower Perfume. It has a concentrated formula so a little mist or two will last you throughout the day with quite a nice throw. I was terribly impressed that for $10 bucks the linger and throw was better on it than fragrances I’ve spent $60 or more on!

I’ll definitely be checking out the other fragrances in this collection!

They are a nice budget pick up and Sun Blossom didn’t disappoint! Excellent throw, good linger, and a bright, sunny fragrance that smells high end but cost next to nothing!

I purchased this item.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I was impressed with these fragrances too. I bought Forever Paris and love it (surprisingly) even more than BBW’s Paris Amour. I’ll have to try this one next as I loved EA’s Sunflower as a kid.

You’ve got to try EOB warm vanilla wishes. Its a seasonal scent. I picked up the lotion and shimmer spray last year and got the foaming hand soap this time. Its a great vanilla scent that actually has some throw!
