essie winter 2013 collection

Essie welcomes in their Winter 2013 Collection with a selection of nail polishes a luxurious selection of colors inspired by the cold weather and a warm, cozy cashmere sweater or soft, fur lined blanket.

This year the Essie Winter 2013 Collection combines soft pastels with deep, intense shades to create a palette featuring colors that remind you of bright winter outwear with plenty of dark mysterious hies to creature texture and balance.

Take a look!

These six limited edition shades will be available for $8 bottle at mass retailers and drugstores.

I played with Sable Collar, Toggle to the Top, and Warm & Toasty Turtle Neck recently.

Essie Sable Collar is probably my favorite of the three. This is a rich warm pearlescent chocolate plum! It’s a stunning shade that reminds me of hot cocoa by the fire.

Essie Toggle To The Top is my next favorite as hey, it has shimmer! This is a rich garnet red with a textured gritty glitter feel on nails. The glitter is gorgeous to say the least and a single layer produces fairly good color but add three layers and you’ll really get a perfect jeweled garnet shade on nails!

And finally there’s Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck which is a cool lavender. Although you might think Spring with this shade I promise a touch of duskiness to the shade adds that warm, cozy sweater feel for winter!

These stunning shades are available now at drugstores.

Any you love?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I agree with you Muse Sable collar takes the show, its quite nice, I don’t need any nail polish, but I think I might have to break my own rule and buy it anyway! It’s too pretty to resist!
