Estee Lauder Liquid Petals Pure Color High Intensity Lip Lacquer ($25) fabulous lipgloss I recently tried in the Lip Lacquer Collection. I’m absolutely adoring these pigment rich Pure Color Lip Glosses and as a fan of the original formula they pack a mighty pop of pigment in comparsion.

Take a peek!

Estee Lauder Liquid Petals Pure Color High Intensity Lip Lacquer is a beautiful dusky pink that looks almost dusky rose on my lips. It has a very faint golden shimmer that’s undetectable on lips once applied.

The color, like all the Pure Color Lip Lacquered I’ve tried up until now, is incredibly pigmented with an opaque finish on a single application. They aren’t kidding about the intensity and saturation of these glosses. But like all the shades I’ve tried I also noticed it has a bit of a draggy application so I find running the sponge over my lips a few times gives me the smoothest application.

These are fairly thick glosses thus the lacquer in the name as they don’t have the slippery texture of a gloss and have more of a liquid lipstick texture with a little tackiness and a wear time that’s outstanding longer of around five to six hours! Color migrate so be sure to use a lip pencil of some sort to keep them from feathering or taking road trips around your lip line!

Overall, the Estee Lauder Pure Color High Intensity Lip Lacquers are an absolute joy of a product and every color so far has been a winner.

Loves ’em!

They are available now at esteelauder.com as well as nordstrom.com or your favorite Estee Lauder counter. Ask Santa for a shade or two! They are well worth the purchase.

An unrelated question. Over the weekend I saw Estee Lauder section at a Sephora in Downtown San Francisco, but when I got home I can’t find Estee Lauder on their website. Is Estee Lauder setting shop inside Sephora and possibly online, or it’s a per-location thing? I can build up points soooo much faster if Estee Lauder is available at Sephora….

    Thanks,

i’ve actually never see EL in shops but that is pretty damn awesome if it is coming to more locations 🙂

What a glorious lip colour on you, dear Muse. You’ve done it again — I’ll be heading to my nearest Lauder counter to get one. (Like I really need anymore lip gloss, when my counter is splayed with glosses. But always in search of the perfect lip colour!)

Wow Muse, you sure have been on an EL lip gloss binge lately! You’re THIS CLOSE to getting me to actually try one of these. And I am so not a lip gloss person, I find I have to reapply to often. But I’m eyeing this one.
