Too Faced All I Want for Christmas Review & Swatches

Too Faced has plenty of Holiday 2013 goodies to love but the Too Faced All I Want for Christmas Set ($45) is probably my very favorite! Granted they have cute palettes and even massive ones to love but the All I Want for Christmas Gift Set has the basics and sometimes the basics are all I need.

I adore this set and highly recommend grabbing it.

Too Faced All I Want for Christmas is a simple selection of Too Faced makeup products to create a classic neutral look for the Holidays! I adore this set because there isn’t too much of a good thing. Granted, I ADORE mega palettes as much as the next person but they can be overwhelming that’s why this set is nice, simple, and classic!

You get:

The blush and eyeshadow trio is possibly my favorite piece of the collection. It contains a matte creamy gone shade and a shimmering taupe along with a golden peach blush. The look you can create using these shades is classic and elegant. The shades all have a super smooth, silky texture with the taupe shadow having a more velvety feel. They have great pigmentation and easy to apply and blend formula and wear quite beautifully on eyes and cheeks.

They include the perfect shade of La Creme Lipstick to go along with the colors of the palette! I can’t rave enough about the La Creme formula. It’s one of thee best cream lipsticks I’ve ever tried. One part balm, one part hydrating lipstick, all pigmented with a tasty lemon-y flavor and fragrance this applies like butter on lips with excellent opaque coverage. The color is a bright peachy rose on my lips with a bit of coral thrown in.

Too Faced also includes the essentials to prep eyes and of course, finish them! A full size Shadow Insurance is included to prep your eyes for shadows and one of their best selling Perfect Eyes Waterproof Liner and Lash Injection Mascara are included to complete your look. I’m a huge fan and supporter of Perfect Eyes Eyeliner as it has a creamy formula that blends dreamily if you desire to smoky eyes out. It also has an excellent wear on the waterline with a solid five hours of wear before showing minor signs of wear.

The entire set is packaged into a chevron cosmetic zip barrel bag designed by celebrity decorator and TV personality Mary McDonald.

I absolutely adore the set as it’ll create friendly looks for day and night looks! Granted I adore festive holiday shades but classic, essentials colors like this make for great everyday looks!

Believe is the first one that i have owned so will absolutely be expanding my collection of these! I also LOVE that the brown shadow reflects a beautiful shimmery pink….! Not a huge fan of the mascara tho :/

These colors are gorgeous! Is Shadow Insurance good for oily eyelids?

I don’t have oily lids Mandy but I really dislike Shadow Insurance all together, it’s really slippery and less than mattifying in my experience!

Darn! I was looking for an alternative to my beloved Stila Prime Pot, which I think has been discontinued. It works so well for my oily eyelids.
