Jill Stuart Fruit & Aroma Mist Review
Jill Stuart Fruit & Aroma Mist released back in Japan back in Spring 2008 or so. I never did a get to try this facial mist as I had other things that popped into my cart that Spring…!
As a fond fan of Jill Stuart Cleansing Oil I decided to give this a go a year or so ago. As hey, I like Jill Stuart’s Beauty line and I love me some facial mist.
Take a look!
Oh woe is me! Jill Stuart Fruit & Aroma Mist is horrifying. Let me count the ways this stinks so bad…!
If you’ve ever used products like Etude House Cloud Bubble Foam, L’Occitane Rose 4 Reines Hydrating Face Mist, or Kose Happy Bath Day products you’ll understand what I mean when I say this smells just awful!
I’m surprised as typically Jill Stuart has a way with fruity floral notes but this just comes across like scented toilet paper, Charmin Toilet Paper in particular comes to mind. It’s a heavier rose scent which my nose curls up at. I love the scent of roses but this does nothing for me unfortunately.
If you can get past the generic eau de old lady scent you might like the mist. This comes in a 2 oz bottle decorated with a crystal topper. It’s elegant, it’s pretty, it’s princess-y! Very Jill Stuart!
It’s not as moisturizing as some of my other mists and I find it does its best work as a setting spray as it keeps shine at bay while locking makeup into place. I used it all Summer and it did such a nice job keeping my shiny forehead nice and matte plus it kept my foundation wearing strong. I’d liken it to Urban Decay De-Slick Spray.
Do you need to track it down?
Not really!
You can get the same benefits and results from Urban Decay or even Skindinavia mists and you won’t have to deal with the yucky scent on those!
Anyone try this?
