MAC Nocturnals Lip Gloss Set

I got my hands on one of the four MAC Nocturnals Lip Gloss ($32.50). MAC introduced four Nocturnals Lip Gloss Sets that will be available for a limited time for the Holiday season.

Each set contains one MAC Dazzleglass and three MAC Cremesheen Glasses weighting in at 0.08 oz each. The shades are all repromotes in this particularly set so prior to indulging check your stash to be sure you don’t already own the shade.

MAC Nude Nocturnals Lip Gloss Set

Let’s take a look!

MAC Nocturnals Lip Gloss Set Holiday 2013

The MAC Nude Nocturnal Lip Gloss Set is actually an excellent value as each tube is 0.08 oz in size versus a full size Dazzleglass that weights in at 0.06 and a full size Cremesheen that weights in at 0.08 oz each. So essential you’re getting WAY more here for way less even though the smaller stouter tubes look smaller they are actually full size glosses. Purchasing each tube individually would set you back $80 and this set is merely $32.50!

The shades you get are:

  • Phiff!
  • Boy Bait
  • Over Indulgence
  • Richly Revered

MAC Phiff! Dazzleglass

Phiff!

These shades all run rather sheer (particularly Phiff! which is basically sparkle gloss without any real shade) but many of the tinted colors can be built up for better color pay off. They all have a smooth, soft, gel-like consistency that applies evenly on lips with a faint vanilla fragrance and flavor. They aren’t terribly tacky the way MAC’s regular round of Lipglasses are which means the wear time is slighter shorter at around three hours of wear. They have a lovely shiny finish and give lips a plush-like finish.

The set on a whole is an excellent value. Even though it isn’t as large and filled with variety as some of the gloss sets we’re seeing from Stila and Tarte it still manages to bring a good deal of value to the table!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. LOVE!!! All of these colors look spectacular on you. I NEEEED these!! You know the thing about lip gloss (and make up in general) is that it never gets tired of you, or thinks you are a pain in the a**. And now that I’ve made my sad little observation for the day, I have to go cry. Ugh!!! 🙁

I’m okay, just tired of some drama in my life and only I can get rid of it. I’ll take the hug…need that more than the lip gloss! xo

Hey Gwen, just remember most of the time when someone is getting on you about something, it’s really about THEM. Seriously, think about it and make another observation, do people get mad at you for stuff they themselves do ALL THE TIME? This could be my saga LOL but I’ve decided that my new motto is, “I’m a mirror” – meaning, what you give to me, you get back, it’s your choice.

OH, and another observation of mine? Makeup always FITS, even if you have to work it a little. LOL

      Here’s to a happier day comrade! 🙂

I wanted to get this set for Phiff alone… too bad they didn’t spell it closer to my last name LOL. My old boss used to call me Piff.
