St Ives Citrus and Vitamin C Lotion Spray

I happen to be a high maintenance type that dislikes dealing with heavier body creams and moisturizers. They make me feel sticky, oily, and they just feel too heavy on my skin! Yak!

When Vaseline introduced Spray & Go I was in 7th Heaven and even better yet now that Sty Ives has their new Fresh Hydration Spray Lotions you can count me one happy girl.

This continuous sprays easily mist onto your skin and even harder to reach areas. The formula is a fine mist that absorbs easily into skin leaving it nicely hydrated without being too heavy, too rich, or sticky/tacky. I tried out the Citrus scent which has a fresh slightly fruity scent which lingers quite nicely on my skin! I absolutely love the smell of this. The texture is lovely and it leaves my skin smooth and soft but if you have drier skin you might need a bit more moisture than this provides. In my case, I do have drier skin so I stick to this for daily use and for a heavier moisturizer in the evenings.

Needless to say I find them terribly convenient, easy to use, mess-free, and completely user friendly so I’m not left with a greasy film of heavier cream on my legs and arms but a delicate burst of hydrating lotion that absorbs in a snap.

Loves it.

I picked up the Coconut Milk and Orchid Extract one yesterday at CVS. The scent is wonderful – but I do agree with you that it is not going to be effective against super-dry skin. I’m taking your advice and using this light and refreshing spray in the morning, while sticking to a more moisturizing body cream at night.

that’s the best bet for me! I get the benefits of lighter moisture in the day and at night when I’m not so concerned I can use a heavier body cream :D

I like the concept of these spray lotions – but I end up with a lot of residue on the floor, resulting in either slipperiness or stickiness, whether on tile, hardwood, or carpet. Does anyone else have this problem, or do I just have really bad aim?
