Wet n Wild Rose Golden Goddess To Reflect Shimmer Palette Review and Swatches
The Wet n Wild Rose Golden Goddess To Reflect Shimmer Palette was one of three highlighting powders launched with the Wet n Wild Fergie Collection that actually ended up making it into the permanent Wet n Wild Collection.
If you’re an old Wet n Wild fan this palette just might bring to mind the Coloricon Collection that was released Summer 2010. Although the names different Wet n Wild Rose Golden Goddess To Reflect Shimmer Palette is a dupe for the bronzer launched in this collection entitled Blaze.
Let’s have a look!
As far as I’m concerned the quality of the makeup went down with the Fergie Centerstage Collection. The Photo Op Eyeshadow Palettes weren’t anything great to write home about and more recently the new Wet n Wild Fergies Jet Set Palette for Holiday 2013 doesn’t look all that fab to me. If you wanna do it right bring back the beautiful palettes launched back in 2010 like the Coloricon Night Elf and Golden Goddess Eyeshadow Palettes!
One thing Wet n Wild did get right was these To Reflect Shimmer Palettes!
Wet n Wild Rose Golden Goddess To Reflect Shimmer Palette is a generously sized 0.40 oz baked highlighter that’s $4.99. It’s a mix of peachy and brownish orange shades that create a coppery glow with a luminous metallic finish on cheeks. The color is very flattering for deeper and warmer skin tones but you can sheer it out if you’re fairer. I actually use it as an eyeshadow as well as a blush since it is quite pigmented. The texture is finely milled and blends very easily onto my skin. The soft texture is actually pretty amazing as typically baked products aren’t this soft nor do they yield this much color. There isn’t a ton of chunky shimmer or sparkle here either. Even on my drier skin the glow it lent was pretty without accentuating my drier areas!
Although Wet n Wild has had a long list of misses for me lately the To Reflect Shimmer Palettes aren’t one!
These are well worth a pick up and a fab beauty budget pick!
